John Bates from 730 South Exteriors treated us wonderfully the whole way through the process, starting by skillfully convincing our insurance company to reverse its original decision not to cover the roof replacement (John has tremendous knowledge of insurance), to overseeing his fantastic, professional crew in doing the actual replacement. That crew did the whole job in one day, starting at 7:00 a.m. and finishing around 5:00 p.m. John mentioned at one point that he does each roof job as though it were for his own house---and I believe that he does indeed do so. For our roof, he made small but important improvements and upgrades that he thought would be best for our house, including adding some vents that should have been present in the first place and improving how the roof connects to a chimney. (The chimney had not been constructed quite correctly in the first place, leading to some past water leakage.)

John was very responsive and explained everything he did to fix the leak in our roof. He also backed it up with pictures.

Fast and well done with a reasonable price tag!

Responsive and responsible; quality work and easy to work with

John Bates responded as soon as I went looking for a roofing company. We did not know what bad shape our roof was in. We could not have asked for anyone better than John and his roofing crew. They worked in the cold of December to make sure we were well taken care of. They worked with our insurance company to insure we got the best shingles and other materials and that everything was installed to perfection. We had an added problem in that we have an old solar system on the roof and they figured out a way to protect it, make sure it worked when they were done and did not have to replace one piece. the concern of the roofers and of John lets us praise them to whoever will listen. if you need a new roof 730 South Exteriors should be your first consideration. Chris was great; Robert the inspector was fine I suppose hard to evaluate, but he was kind and on time and worked quickly. Just didn t have much to say in the report.

Needed to have multiple tiles replaced. They gave me an estimate the day I called and returned the next morning to do the job. They cleaned up after everything was completed. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
