DELISH CATERING

Overall we were very pleased with Tina and Shannon's professionalism, performance and food quality. They had everything ready on time, had beautiful displays and were always cheerful. They also gave us a discount on glasses, plates and silverware rental when our venue informed us at the last minute they did not have enough of these items. There was only thing that left us with a sinking feeling after the event - they served farm-raised Atlantic salmon when we had asked for wild Alaskan salmon. Perhaps they forgot we had requested this during our discussions, or maybe they thought we would not be able to tell the difference, and they could cut their costs. However the light color, poor texture and fishy flavor of the salmon was a give-away. Another possibility exists - they served poor quality Alaskan salmon, such as pink salmon rather than sockeye, silver or king. But really, who would serve pink salmon at a wedding? We thought about bringing this up with them, but found nowhere in our contract was wild Alaskan salmon specified, so we had nothing to stand on, and they did such a great job with everything else. After the fact there's nothing that could be done about it anyway. People ate it and we paid them. But we become naseous every time we think about the $8,000 we spent and we did not get what we asked for.
