Randy arrived March 5th to explain and check what we possibly needed to make our home more efficient. A thorough home check and explanation of all possibilities for our particular situation were discussed. Together we decided what was the best for our home and scheduled the installation. From the moment Randy arrived we knew we were dealing with a very professional and knowledgable individual. On a personal note, we really enjoyed Randy. He has a great personality, very knowledgable about the mountain area of our community. We are new to Idaho so Randy's knowledge of the area was a welcome addition. We are sure he spent much more time with us then was necessary to schedule the service. On March 6th the installers promptly arrived and got to work. Dave appeared to be what we would call the and quot;foremanand quot; of these installers. He was extremely knowledgable and had no problems what so ever dealing with our older homes obstacles (50 year old log home). Brian appeared to be Dave's right hand man. Together these two worked so closely we are sure they read each other's minds! They are fantastic alone and together. Chris and Conrad arrived later in the day after they finished their first job of the day. Together these four fellows worked like crazy to insure we had a functionally working system before they left for the day. We anticipated their return the next day due to the amount of work that was needed to complete this project but we were pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case, they worked late to insure completion that day. Both I and my husband would highly recommend A-1 for anyone needing heating and air conditioning upgrades or solutions. I should also mention Berry in the office who stayed up to date with our project and made sure our concerns were met and kept us informed every step of the way. We highly recommend this company mainly because of the excellent team members and their complete knowledge.

They are very good. They are inexpensive and timely. They don't add onto a job unnecessarily. They just replace what needs to be replaced. The staff is great. I asked them about propane services and they gave me a couple of recommendations so they were really helpful. I've used them twice.

Service-person looked around like he was going to give a house appraisal. Asked to use our bathroom - BIG NO-NO! on top of that he didn't wash his hands before leaving our bathroom - YUK. The whole thing felt creepy and we just wanted him to leave. Now I have to pay extra for a service and schedule another day to be there when they come? I mentioned this incident to a close friend who related an incident that happened where the service person was using the excuse to use the bathroom to steal medications out of the bathroom cabinet. So, call the company if this happens to you.
