Mr Stoddard entered a bid that was well under what a couple of competing contractors offered. Work started after a contract was drawn up. He works fast, by himself most of the time so labor costs are kept to a minimum. Very satisfied with the results so far. He actually directed me to another job he had completed to give us an idea of what the end results would look like. He had great input on some additional items were were not entirely sold on. Nice gentlemen to work with and very professional to deal with. I would hire him again!

10/25/14 - We never missed an invoice, we paid any invoice immediately that was billed to us. He underbid the contract that was signed, and didn't tell us until the last minute. We paid for far more work than was completed.

"This is an unfair rating. Homeowners signed a contract for a specific amount to have their house built. Turned out they did not have that contractual amount. As it states in our signed contract, we will stop work if we are unable to get paid. We were left with a huge deficit. Communication goes both ways. They did not live in the area. We returned calls in a timely manner & sent many pictures via email. We were working in a huge mud hole that the homeowners said they would gravel (excavation was done by their brother) and they didn't. Was a huge accident risk for builder and difficult to bring construction equipment to job site. Had no water on the job for the majority of the work which is also something the homeowner said they would take care of. Had to transport water to the jobsite in buckets. Would have liked to complete this project. Beautiful home in a beautiful area."
