Golden Rule Roofing

They got everything done when I needed the help and even found and fixed roof problems that I didn't know about.

Robert was great, this was the second time I had used him. I bought my house brand new in 2003 and have had issues with the roof since. I called Robert and he promptly came out the same day. He knew who the original roofer was and knew I would have problems. The first time he came out, I had a leak where the gable met the roof, in the corner of the gable. It was missing some flashing and he caulked the area. I asked him to check the roof for other issues and he found that many of the vent pipe boots were the wrong size and showed me they had large gaps allowing water and snow to get in. He replaced all of the boots around the vent pipes that were a problem. Everything seemed to be fixed until we got a heavy down pour from a thunderstorm this summer and saw water coming down my siding, on my front porch. Again Robert came right out and fixed leaks, this time in the corners of the dormers. I pointed out that there was bare wood showing at the top of the dormers and so he put up flashing where it was missing. Again I had him inspect the roof and had him work on any area he felt would be an issues. His 2 workers fixed problem areas and were on the roof for about 2 hours. I felt his price was reasonable. All seems to be well now with the roof. Robert is very professional, he is prompt and he makes sure his crew understands what needs to be done before they begin work. He also knows many other contractors in town and can recommend their services too. I will definitely use him again, should the need arise (butt hope it doesn't). I do recommend him to others as well.

Bob was always good about answering his phone and calling me back.  There was a bit of a miscommunication about who was supposed to do what since he was trying to squeeze me into his schedule and so I had 2 different crews working different days on the roof so some things got missed the first time.  He was very good when I brought it to his attention and immediately got the work done and checked on it himself.  I would hire him again.  We didn't get any other bids so I don't know if $3000 was a good deal or not.

I had very bad leak in my roof.
Mr. Watson responded promptly to my call, temporarily covering the area during the storm....
He returned gave me an estimate of the repairs needed, which was done when the weather cleared.
He and his crew were courteous, professional and patient....  a job well done,with my thanks.

After a horrendous windstorm that knocked a wide area of shingles off our roof, we called Golden Rule and they came out in the middle of a snowstorm to cover the roof until such a time as it can be reshingled. We were very pleased, as they made it a top priority to get it done before rain set in. They are now at the top of our list as the ones to call for any roofing need.

Corrected flashing around skylight which was leaking. Installed new roof jackets. |They were very professional and punctual. |I would certainly call them again and recommend them to others.

Corrected the serious roofing deficiencies by a previous contractor four years earlier found in the home inspection. Did what he represented, fair price, timely, and proud of his work. Does not like shoddy roofers who do not do good work at the expense of the customer. Willing to back his work. Very please with the result.

He was prompt, professional, clean, did exactly what he said he would do, and stayed within the budget.
