STAGECOACH REMODELING INC

Poor support, follow-up and customer service.  Provided overcost and under quaility work.  I am still repairing their mistakes as well as their subcontractor builder work -- Classic construction.  The building started in 2007 and I terminated their work 2 years later in 2009.  The addition was only a 25ft by 33ft addition.  Plus, the quality and any problems were not handled proffessionally.  Every time I reported a problem (e.g,, misaligned support for deck, sticking windows, failure to complete items on contact), they would start blaming us as for causing the problem.  Bottom line if you do business with these people you need to have a lawyer read the contact before signing and you will see what type of people you are dealing with.

WHATEVER YOU DO IF YOU HIRE THIS GROUP IS HAVE A LAWYER READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  In short they put no timeline in for completing work (per contract = ".. time is not of the essence ..") and if you fired them you still have to pay their overhead and profit cost for work not executed.  Per the contract we were suppose to get top quality work and daily supervision of each subcontractor -- this did not happen in my option.  Never saw owner or any supervisory representive on site more then 5 or 6 times in the almost 2 years of work.  
Extension's metal roof was not of the same type of metal or color as the original roof.  The color was close but still you can tell it is not the same color.  Had other issues with roof that I finally had to get my own roofer to fix.
Concrete support for front deck addition shifted first winter.  Stagecoach resisted correcting problem and pushed the problem back on us. 
Windows in Master bedroom stuck and would not open.  Stagecoach repainted but windows continued to stick and blame us for continuing to shut the windows when they were wet.  Finally had to correct the problem ourselves. 
Found out bid did not include floor covering.  I had to install all flooring in bedroom, den and hallways. 
Stagecoach, per contract, was to finish existing basement, but refused to do work. They only finish a part of the excessing basement.  I was able to get a credit on the bid for no work done in existing basement, but after that any requested modifications to extension work was excess in cost. 
HIGHLY Excess overrun on painting cost, which was never mentioned to us until time they requested payment. 
Stagecoach workers and subcontractors time include travel time to and from the job (travel time was approx. 1 hr + from town to our home – so approx. 3 hr travel time per day), so most of the time work on site was less than 8 hours per day.
These are just a few issues with Stagecoach.  My suggestion – do not use this company for anything.
