It went very well. We had to have them back twice for minor adjustments, but nothing major. We were absent during the install, and they handled it well in our absence. The owner communicates well by phone and email, and has a great personality.

It went extremely well........we had limited space and we wanted to make the most of it. She gave us some great ideas on how to use what we had and how to make the most of it. Her suggestions were clever, unique, and within a reasonable budget. As a result we are in the process of incorporating her ideas into our revised building plan.

I have been working with Joyce from Silkwood Interiors for more years than I can count, since I first became a homeowner. She consulted me with how best to decorate my house using my current belongings, my budget and my style as the parameters. It turned out beautifully as she has an amazing sense of color coordination, space and scale. I always received complements on my starter homes after using her services. Now that I am building a custom home years later, I had Joyce work with my builder to draw up the blueprints. She reworked the standard plans and created a better flow in our home, found multiple extra closet spaces, more window light, more functionality in doorways, and many other thoughtful ideas, such as built-in bookshelf niches and knowledge with where to place electrical outlets and lighting junction boxes. She shopped for the best-priced tile, carpet, granite, plumbing, cabinets and lighting for our home, as well as found installers. I know she has done this for years and years with high-end clients all the way to teams upon teams of builders and crewmen, so she can walk the walk and talk the talk! She knows interiors and exteriors like the back of her hand. I look forward to our home being completed so that we can start decorating because I know she will take the time to find the best quality pieces that are affordable and are my style. The range of homes she has done is wide, so I know she can adapt to anything the client wants. Over the years, Joyce has helped me organize so many areas of my home: closets, outdoor areas, offices, kitchen cabinets, etc. She has an uncanny sense of function and space and can bring peace to any area of chaos! While my home is being built, she staged my current home just using what I already owned. She advised me on which items I have accumlated to put into storage and rearranged my other items. She let me know what buyers look for, which areas to focus on, and which areas to repaint. My house went on the market and within 24 hours, we had a full price offer with the agent stating that 'the house showed beautifully'! Hire Silkwood Interiors for any home design job you may have. At first we were skeptical, we only asked her to do our front room. After the first project, we were so impressed with her work that we asked her to work on the master bedroom, the kids' rooms, and the downstairs family rooms. She did all the shopping and decoration. The end results are truly impressive. We really enjoyed her, and we loved seeing and living in the results of her work. She was very patient with us and quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. We will definitely use her again for our future home.
