Job completed in about 3.5 hours (reasonable for the situation).

I needed a new hot tub wired. I called several places and everyone was pretty busy. This place initially told me 2 weeks out on the job and we're top ranked here, so I chose them. Then was told it would be 2.5-3 weeks, and someone would call me next week to come check out the job. Now told it would be 2.5-3 weeks after they come out next week (so really up to 4 weeks). Not thrilled but all places were busy so I said let's do it. Thursday of the following week I still hadn't got a call, so called back. The guy I spoke to seemed to indicate there was no record of anything for me, but he'd come out tomorrow. Great. He did, though I was not there (babysitter was there). I then waited to hear back with price/date estimates. Did not hear back by the following Tuesday, so called back. Was told they would need to talk to the person and call me back. Waited a few more days and called back again after hearing nothing. Was told the exact same thing. This went on with me calling every few days and being told the same thing each time, that someone would call me back. NINE TIMES. Repeated excuses about being busy with other jobs. I told them I understand and am not asking it be done now, I knew from the start it would not be done for a while. What I wanted was someone to call me with an estimate of price/date, which they repeatedly assured me would happen. At one point they told me it would be done that week (although asked me if I could dig the trench myself... really?!). That didn't happen. When I called them after the no-show, I was told he had mixed up my job with someone else's, but they could come Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. That also didn't happen. Never in the entire process did I receive a single call from anyone, every contact had to be initiated by me. Also never got a price estimate. On the final call after waiting 2 days for a callback he tells me he lost my number, at which point I told him nevermind I don't want any work done by this company. His response was "Okay."

Very well. The electrician was punctual, friendly, and competent. I enthusiastically shared his contact information with my neighbors, who were in search of an electrician for small household jobs.

I noticed a crackling noise and smoke coming from an outlet.  Fearful of a possible fire I called several electricians.  Reliable happen to be the only one open early in the morning to answer my call.  They said they would be out later that day.  Someone showed up that afternoon and replaced the outlet that was smoking.  He was very quick and was in and out in a short amount of time.  I believe it was about 15 minutes from start to finish.  I received the bill and was charged for 1.5 hrs of time plus materials.  I called to ask for a clarification on the 1.5 hours and I was told it was travel time. 
This is only a way to pad the bill in my opinion.  I was never told I would be charged for travel time.  How is an electrician able to perform their job if they don't travel?  They charged for the time it would take to get from the business in Hayden to Hauser and back.  Am I suppose to believe after every job they head back to the shop before they head out to the next job?  I think not.  It's more likely customers are being charged travel time no matter where they are coming from or going to.  I find this highly unethical and I will not use them or anyone for that matter that charges travel time that is just in the normal course of business.  That would be like me deducting travel time from the invoice to go purchase an envelope and a stamp to pay the bill.

The electrician came out precisely when he said he would, quickly looked at all our issues and fixed what needed to be fixed.  He DIDN'T fix things that didn't need it...ones that we thought were problems but turned out to be simple fixes.  We expected the cost to be a lot higher, but his honesty resulted in a lower bill this time and us knowing who we'll call the next time we need someone!  Definitely recommend them.

I called two times to follow-up to get an estimate and talked to Lee, but never received an estimate or a call back to say they would not be submitting an estimate.

They were very responsive, punctual, and professional.  A good company.

The electricians are punctual personable and very professional.  The had good solutions for the lighting issues I had.  Earlier I had them wire the house for internet service.  The service provider has very impressed with the good job they did.   We have had Reliable do a number of jobs for us over the last 15 years.  They have always been A+.

There was no charge, they didn't need to come out, but what I am so happy with is that they easily could have just come out, done the same thing and charged me but graciously helped me by phone and for free. That information has since helped me again to solve a different but similar problem on my own. I will most definitely use them for future needs based on their community spirit.

They were very prompt in coming by to give an estimate and inspect the job. We had 3 other electricians perviously come by to quote and we never heard back from them. They arrive on time on the scheduled work day and were efficient, polite and offer options to fit our particular scope. The other quote we did receive was 3 times more expensive and had services we felt were unnecessary.
