transmission repair
 + -1 moreThe gentleman that we've dealt with mostly, I believe is the owner. Not sure as my husband has done most of the direct communication with them. They are very very professional, timely and courteous but ABOVE ALL KNOWLEDGAB LE!! We had taken our delivery truck to another garage for regular servicing less than 700 miles before my husband noticed a 'weird' noise coming from the engine of the delivery truck while he was making a delivery. He drove the truck back to that garage that had done all of the servicing less than a month before and was told " that is what those transmissions sound like. Don't worry". Well, he did worry and took it immediately to Lake City Transmission in Hayden and they found that the ball bearings were shot in the tranny and the transmission would have seized while driving it if not caught in time! That could have been disastrous for our little company especially if it had broken down on a highway while our driver's were going 60 miles an hour. Besides the 1500.00 tow bill we may have had if it broken down a couple of hundred miles from our store. I and my husband recommend them above and beyond to anyone who needs transmission service. .
Description of Work: They have replaced TWO transmissions for us, both in a personal vehicle (a manual Isuzu Trooper 4 x 4) and in our Company Delivery Truck, a 2000 Ford Econoline Van Style Box Truck.
