It went really well; I got lucky. They were friendly and seemed to enjoy their job; that was a big plus. They are a good Christian organization so that it put it over the top.

Not finding much about this company (or any other local painters) on Angie's List, I poked around and was glad to find a bit more information about it on their website.  I emailed to say I would like to get an estimate and got a very quick reply.  Jeff came to look at the house a couple of days later.  They started the work a little later in the month than he had thought they would, due to rainy weather.  I was kept informed about the delay.  While the painting was in progress we had some damp, foggy mornings and Jeff called each of those mornings to say they would come to work when the fog lifted, and to give me an estimate of what time that might be.  The crew seemed to work efficiently and the work went smoothly.  The results look good and they cleaned up well afterward (even cleaned up a bit of a mess I had left in one place).  My shrubbery seems to look as good as it did before.  Jeff inspected the work when the crew was done and asked me if his guys had treated me well, which they had - they were all pleasant and courteous.  For months I'd been dreading getting this done, but it turned out to be no big deal.

Jeff and his team did a great job of prepping, painting and cleaning up after the job was complete.  No drama, no issues.   They started and completed the job as planned. Hassle free painting job and the team took time to be sure we were satisfied. 

The contractor came out on a Friday to examine and bid the job. This was within a couple days of my initial phone call to him. By the following Tues, I had a contract submitted to me via e-mail and two days later accepted it. That Saturday, he arrived to do the pressure washing and removed dirt and moss from all surfaces as well as washing and prepping the deck. Came back two days later and sanded and stained the front deck/porch matching the stain color very well and using quality materials. In approx 2 weeks from initial contact by me, our washing and painting were done and done well. Very easy to work with, good attention to detail and good workmanship. Would/will use again.

He is a wonderful person. I paid him $4000 upfront because I was going to be out of town when he was scheduled to do the painting. He was a Christian man. I left the $4000 check and left the rest up to him, I was running on faith and what other people had said about him. He kept up with me while I was gone. When I returned he told me there had been so bad weather and he had only gotten so much done. As soon as the weather cleared up he came back. He will back in the spring to give the deck a final coat.  He is just wonderful. He talks the talk and walks the walk.
