Auto Service, Oils/Lubricants + 1 more
We purchased a 71 Volkswagon bus in early July 2013. While at a traffic light our van began to have black smoke billowing out of the engine vents. Needless to say our van overheated and we were concerned we blew our engine. I had a neighbor who was a VW mechanic several years ago and I knew how passionate he was about VW's so I called around and found him at Wagon Works.
Eric Johnson is the mechanic. He told me to please not change the oil or drive it around until it got to the shop so he could take a look at the oil. He did an oil change and all was ok. He also, (per our request) did a full engine inspection and compression test. He took time to show us all the pros and cons of our current engine and took us for a drive test. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with every aspect of our van. He did not try to sell us to make improvements to our engine. He just gave us the facts with zero pressure to improve our engine. I HIGHLY recommend Wagon Works and in particular Eric also known as Eeeej.
