I have a Volkswagen convertible that has been losing its charge under new battery that last year or so and it was just a pain in the neck.  I took it to the Volkswagen dealership and they had it for about 4 hours and they said they couldn’t find anything, so I was referred to Jeff’s Import and he has a little shop, fixed my car, they said they have to keep it for a few days because they have to wait for all of the electrical stuff in it to shut down so that they could find the source of the power drain.  He called me and he said my battery was good, and he could not find the source of the power drain but suggested that I use a trickle charger on it that was plugged to the wall.  Bottom-line he did not charge me for anything.  Jeff himself, he was very helpful and he was good in what he was doing.

Noise was identified and a plan of action was recommended.  The car was schedule in and the service was done.  The results were as promised and the noise is gone.  The results were excellent.

My 2001 VW had been miss firing for over 2 years and VW dealer/repair shop would not even open the hood to find out what the problem involved because the check engine light was not on. I thought it was plugged injectors and because I had been using ethanol fuel. Fuel treatments helped for a while, but it steadily got worse. Two other trips to VW dealer and same response. Finally car would not start and I had it towed to local auto repair shop where they replaced the sparkplugs and found a PCV with damaged tubing. They referred me back to VW repair shop where this was replaced, but an inspection showed multiple other "defects" to the tune of $1700.
They said a "road test" was done and no missing. The next day the miss firing return, but was less. A call back to VW shop returned a reply that they could not do anything if the check engine light was not on. Over the next several months the missing increased and the check engine light came on. I received a recommendation for Jeff's imports who deals mostly with VWs and was able to get in immediately. He hooked up the computer to the port and found the missing cylinder and clogged fuel injectors and repairs were made in two days. Very professional and honest. Small but very busy. A long story that finally resulted in a smooth running car again.

It's a small place but the guy who runs it is a great guy and gives good service.
