I just needed a heart worm test so I could buy the medication on line. They were friendly and accomodating, but the place was dirty, messy, and cluttered.  It felt like an old house turned into a veterinary office (which it probably was) and poorly layed out.  They also called me later and said I owed another $10.00 for online prescriptions, for the use of their fax and services.  This was not discussed ahead of time, and since I already had my meds, I paid the $10.00.

Good.  They previously discovered her glaucoma at an early stage and it has responded to treatment.

I called in and got a quote over the phone from an employee there. Based on that quote I made an appointment and got my dog fixed. My husband picked up the dog for me and gave me the receipt when he returned. I immediately called because the quote was $120.00 and was charged $170.00. When I dropped the dog off that morning I was assured that she would receive pain medicine during the surgery and some would come home for us with her as part of the cost of the surgery. No pain medicine came home with my dog at all, she laid here crying in pain. I immediately called and the attitude was use the pain medicine that I paid for that we received for our other dogs (Large 100 + pound dogs) when the dog fixed was 17 pounds. I left a message for the office manager to call me, no call back. I called in again and asked for the manager to call, guess what no call back. I then called in again and left yet another message, still waiting to hear on that one. I asked for someone else and no one else is available. I would not recommend them because they are not true to there word and to send a dog home in the pain my dog was was not acceptable and lack of follow through on there end was absolutely unprofessional and not trust worthy. If you truly love your animal you will not bring it to this facility, the lack of caring I have encountered on this visit shows where the ethics truly lie.

Some delay because of emergency but doctor was very kind, patient and thorough. This is a pretty junky place where price seems to drive this busy office. I like the place

Took my cat Olivia to see Dr. Scott for a second opinion after Hendricks Vet doctor recommended exploratory surgery on her paw. Scott explained that a botched de-clawing was causing Olivia to limp, no surgery needed, the damage had already been done. Really appreciated the honest assessment! Hendrick's surgery would have cost me over $500.

These folks are the greatest.

Examined ears and prescribed medication and gave instructions on what I should do to make sure the infection is dealt with.
Dr Carter was kind and sensitive to Max's needs, her was gentle and professional in his approach and I feel Max got the proper treatment H disposition has improved greatly since our visit. Would not hesitate to recommend and quot;Animals R Usand quot; to anyone needing care for their pet.

We were able to get our 8yr old standard poodle Becky in the same day we called. The staff and Dr. Carter are totally awesome. They give 10% discount for seniors and the disabled. You can tell they really care about animals. Our cost included a comprehensive blood test and thyroid test, exam, and thyroid pills. We didn't have to wait long for the blood results.
It was a great visit.

Wonderfully well. I was so relieved to get help for my goat.

Dr. Tim Murphy has been my dogs veterinarian for life (13 yrs). Dr. Murphy prescribed a medication (chewable tablet) to aid in bladder control so I simply add one to her feed morning and night. Dr. Murphy gives a 10% discount for senior citizens which is much appreciated.

We moved to Boise about a year ago and ended up searching for a new vet. After a satisfactory, but expensive, experience with another nearby vet clinic, a neighbor suggested Animals R Us. The experience was terrific! The surroundings aren't particularly chic, but the caring and competence are great, and the pricing is common sense. My background: 30 years as physician. My highest accolade is "acts like a professional." It fits here.

They are very empathetic, are very understanding, and don't try to push their philosophy off on you. They respect what you might think is the best for the animal. They are not in it for the money, but remember that they have to make a living! Their pricing is extremely fair!
