On Thanksgiving night, we had issues with the kitchen lights coming on/then turning off on their own, with the smell of burnt plastic and hot-to-the-touch dimmer switch plate. The burning smell concerned me greatly, and Tim with Vital Power was the only electrician who answered my calls the Friday after Thanksgiving and came out for emergency service. Sure enough, a wire had burnt out on the dimmer connection. Tim stopped by and made the repair within a couple of hours of my initial phone call and was very kind and professional--even though he was in pain from a back injury. In contrast, another electrician who had been recommended to me never returned my call (not even the Monday after the holiday weekend.) We appreciate reliable service and will be using Vital Power and Communications again for additional electrical work around the house.

Tim Symons and his team did a great job. Tim personally performed several walk-through's before and during the project to make sure we would be happy with the final product. We liked that Tim was hands-on in the design and planning of the electrical system. His suggestions were always beneficial to us. We never found him pushy. Tim's staff was, to a person, professional and friendly. They were also very respectful of our home. They always tried to accommodate us when something came up at the last minute or we needed something that was never anticipated (i.e. an outlet in the fireplace). We are very happy with the work VPC has done for us. We plan to hire them to upgrade the wiring in our basement next Spring. We are a very satisfied customer.

We had to do a complete breaker panel redo and out let for the Hot tub. We called Vital Power and they came right out with an estament. Came out next day to do the install. Very professional and great customer service. I would highly recommend them. Thank you

We are a 501(c)(3) charity that runs a Vet Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. When we were remodeling the Vet Center we used Vital Power and Communications (VPC) for our extensive electrical work and could not be happier the results. We had bids as high as $20,000 for the work, but VPC bid and did the job for a mere fraction of that cost. Even with the lower bid, VPC additionally donated some supplies and labor to our charitable cause, lowering the cost even more. Tim, the owner was very easy to work with, as were the members of his crews. They delivered all we requested on time and on budget. In addition to the electrical work, they installed all the necessary cables for TV and computers. They even assisted us with a lighting grant from the power company for new energy efficient lighting. They made a special effort to clean up after themselves, never leaving a mess. If you need any electrical or communications work done I highly recommend VPC.
