"[member name removed] did bring several items. Unfortunately, I had neglected to do a small portion of the work requested on one of her slacks. I encouraged her to bring the item back in, but I understand it may not be convenient to do so with her living in a separate state. We file our unfinished & finished items alphabetically using the customers last initial. This enables us to keep close control of our orders & promised completion dates. They are either hanging in a closet area, or folded & put on a shelf near the front counter. They are not piled in a "heap". We do not press items that we sew. We press our work, but not the entire garment. If items come in on a hanger, we make sure that they leave on a hanger. We do not have the equipment that a dry cleaner has in order to steam or press garments. Nor do I have the knowledge to press some fabrics. So I leave that to the experts. [member name removed] total was near $40 but he had brought in several items. Our prices are competitive in this market & our work is superior to other local seamstresses. There are two of us here, both expert seamstresses who do our very best to do the make any garment we work on, look as tho NOTHING was done to it. We strive for perfection both in our sewing skills & customer satisfaction. We have no "subs" here. Annette & I are both greatly concerned with the success of Threads & continue to please our clients after over 10 years in business."
