Mr. Tubbs came on three separate dates and worked extremely hard to remove paint that my husband had foolishly applied to the bathtub 35+ years ago. The paint was peeling and looked awful. Mr. Tubbs (not his real name) used special chemicals and tools to strip the paint from the tub. He sweated profusely. The work was so difficult especially in this small, cramped bathroom and he being in a walker. I ended up giving him a bonus because he said this was one of the hardest jobs he'd done in many years. I believed him because I watched how hard he worked. He was a very pleasant older gentleman and I trusted him to be in my home unsupervised. It's hard to say if he was slow. He took quite a few cell phone calls, mostly I believe from his wife who might have been concerned for him for health reasons.
Description of Work: Mr. Tubbs stripped the beige paint off a bath tub. It was a big job, and Mr. Tubbs is a handicapped gentleman who worked very hard. The tub now needs to be re-finished, and he will come back at the end of the bathroom remodel.
