Went fine if not quickly. Older house, and some fitting and filing had to be done to make everything happy in its place.
John's a very interesting guy and with a 30+ year history in the business, he's run into and worked with lots of interesting folks along the way.
Very professional but also quite sociable.
Just moved here a year or so ago. Our gain, their loss!

Mr. Reed arrived on schedule and did his job quickly and efficiently. He was very pleasant and we had a very nice conservation.

John's work was very thorough and efficient. He also seems to like his work, which made the visit very pleasant. He made doubly sure that I was satisfied with everything and understood all he did. I thought his price was very reasonable, which included lots of keys. There was no pressure to do any other work, and the work areas were left clean. John is everything a locksmith should be and I would certainly call him for any future work.

He was very professional. On time and got right to work. Quality workmanship.

We were in Marietta preparing our new house for occupancy. Our first call to John was to come and repair a broken door knob and lock. He came promptly and made the repairs swiftly and easily, charging us only the basic service charge. A week or so later, we called John back to change the locks on all the exterior doors. Again, he came at the appointed time, worked hard, did a nice job, made plenty of keys for us, and gave us special instructions on how to use the locks to our best advantage, He was very personable and friendly. I would endorse his service most strongly. His charge was very reasonable for the work done.

Excellent! He came in, assessed the situation, did the hardware swap out, rekeyed the locks, tested everything, cleaned up, and left. Very quick, very efficient, very friendly, and did some extra work making sure the strikeplates were adjusted properly so the doors close tightly, but not too tight (so as to put excess pressure on the deadbolt).

Overall it was an extremely positive experience and I would definitely recommend his services to anyone and everyone. This service was extremely important to me, as it was work that needed to be performed on my daughter's residence and for security reasons needed to be done immediately. I greatly appreciated him coming the same day that I called without any extra charge.

The estimate was correct, he came at the time agreed upon, completed all work quickly and professionally--all work completed well.

He was on time and worked quickly to get the job done (informing us that it was a good decision - apparently the last owners had left the master locks on so multiple contractors, etc would have a key from when the house was built).

I called John on a Friday and he arrived ahead of time to the appointment on Monday. He went to the home improvement store and purchased the required hardware, which accounted for more than 2/3 of the total cost. He made sure that he matched the hardware he was replacing, and he provided me with the home improvement store's receipt for my records. He re-keyed 2 exterior doors on my new office condo, and changed out the hardware on 6 interior office doors so that they were lockable. He provided 4 master keys and several additional keys to each office for renters. This is the second time I have hired John. He always does a great job!

I needed the locks changed on 3 exterior doors and 1 door located between the garage and the basement for a rental property. I preferred to have one key for all 4 doors, if possible, even on the interior door. John was able to fix the lock on the interior door to make that happen. In fact, he had to obtain a different part and returned to finish it on the following day. John was very prompt, early even, and such a pleasant person. We were able to schedule a time during the busy holidays when I would be in town. I was extremely pleased with the work and the price!

Marry was incredibly helpful! She took her time to explain the different methods of re-keying or replacing locks. They came out and took care of everything and more. Very efficient.

They came immediately. I got the companies name and number from Angie's List. They did a great job at a fair price. There were no surprises that came up and the job was done in a timely manner.

John arrived to re-key the locks on the same day that I placed the request. He was punctual, very polite and neat. He removed his shoes before entering the house. John recommended that one of the doorknobs/locks be replaced due to wear and age. He offered to come back the next day to replace those parts for only the cost of hardware. I am very happy with the work and feel that he went above and beyond what most locksmiths would do. I will definitely call him the next time I need a locksmith.

John provided superb service. Arriving five minutes earlier than agreed and examining all locks and suggesting re-keying or in one case lock replacement. All work was performed in an efficient manner.

I called that day & was given an estimate over the phone. Mr. Reed came out to do the work within 2 hours! He was extremely courteous & kind, & definitely knew what he was doing. The work was done quickly & exactly as I requested. I'm glad Angie's List was there for me.

Punctual, professional, excellent work, came on a Saturday and returned on Sunday to install new hardware for the front door at no cost for the hardware or work.
