My three month old 2014 Ford Escape leaked what appeared to be hot antifreeze all over the driveway after a short 7 mile drive.  The coolant tank was down, so I filled it back up to the proper level.  It continued to leak several more times, so I took it in and explained the problem to the service advisor.  They told me it was probably just leaking air conditioner fluid.  (hmmm, I thought freon was a gas.)  They kept the car and arranged for me to get an Enterprise rental car.  After 6 days, I finally got a call that my car was ready to pick up.  They had repaired a leaky air conditioner hose.  In the meantime, I had received a notice that the GPS/Entertainment module was due for an update.  I was disappointed that they hadn't automatically done that update, but they reluctantly did do it before I took the car.  They said it would take an hour, but really took about 1 hour 40 minutes.  If the car wasn't under warranty and there was another nearby dealer, I would certainly go elsewhere for service.  They were very unimpressive.
