After taking my car in thinking that it was overheating, the mechanic did some research in the Kia tech manuals and found an issue with Kia and their grounds not being robust enough after a few years in service. They found the ground strap and replaced it with a bigger one and all my electrical issues went away. I was very pleased with the professionalism and responsiveness. I would mention that they did try to upsale me a headlight polish job that I turned down. The headlights needed it, but I decided not to spend the extra money at this time.

They did a really good job, but they were real slow. The tires cost a few hundred dollars for a set of four, and the oil change was competitively priced. In both instances they were real slow. There was just no sense of urgency, and it seemed like they were stopping and talking to other workers a lot. I had no problem with the quality.

They're very thorough and personable, and yet I've never felt that I was overcharged or had to pay for a service that wasn't particularly needed. I have confidence in them that way. When we took the cars in this Spring, I asked the guy how often we needed to get both cars serviced, given that we don't drive much these days. His response was that if we weren't using the vehicles for road trips and such, then we only needed to get the cars in four times a year, just to keep things fresh. For what they did at the last service, I felt their price was fair.
