 + -1 moreRick designed and adjusted a tansu inspired display for our entry. He adjusted a very good original into a beautiful and functional piece of furniture. It was promised in 6weeks and delivered in less than 5. It's a beautifully designed and functional solid wood cabinet. Great work at.a great price.

 + -1 moreOur first interaction with Rick and Rocky Mountain Furniture was a visit to his showroom- we were interested in information about a wall-bed. Rick was very helpful and based on his showroom work we decided to have a bed built. He did a fabulous job and delivered it a few days ahead of schedule. It has been trouble free and he has provided a couple of free adjustments as the mechanism settled in (and one when we changed mattresses). Rick is a great listener, produces a fine product, and backs it up. He does his own installation and is way more reasonable than others we looked at. We will be buying more furniture from him. It is worth mentioning that detailed drawings were produced after a site visit to make sure of scale and so forth. We were included in all phases of the build and allowed to see the project at various stages of completion. Installation was professional and he and the staff left our home as clean as when they entered it (cleaner, actually).
Description of Work: We had a custom wall-bed and bookcase built. It was a queen sized bed with bookcase "wings" of 20" on each side. Wood was knotty-alder in a medium finish (His Rock Creek finish). The style was a simple frame and panel on the bed and a matching door treatment on the bookcases. Doors are soft close and there was crown molding applied to the top of the bed and bookcases.
