Jay didn’t complete the job thoroughly. When I reviewed the finished work I found that he hadn’t actually connected the dryer vent to the external vent that sticks out of the side of my house. He left the vent loosely wrapped around the vent, but not actually fully connected to the exterior vent fitting and then mounted the vent without it being fully connected. When I brought this up Jay was willing to negotiate on the amount he charged me, but I will not be hiring him for any future projects because of the poor quality of work in this experience.
