BE AWARE, stay away from this company. Worst asphalt job I've ever seen. We got completely ripped off. The job was done just over 3 years ago and I have spots where it's almost to bare dirt because it's so thin. I just had another company come out to give me a quote on repairing and resealing and he said in 25 years he's never seen a worse asphalt job. DO NOT HIRE!

Their work is as poor as you can possibly get and they will not respond to call for repairs to their extremely poor work , but they sure are happy to take your money

EXTREMELY POOR paver JOB! We hired Alfie to install asphalt in a large residential driveway and parking area at a cost of about $14,000. I give him kudos for being quick to respond to my request, but I believe he was just trying to get the job done as quickly as possible to get to the next job without much concern for the quality. When I was told we would have about 2 inches of pavement everywhere, that is what we expected. We have several spots where gravel is visible through the asphalt. When we contacted Alfie, I am no expert, but he tried to convince me that the gravel I was seeing were actually pieces of rock within the asphalt. He sent another guy to repair it, who simply did a patch job in one small area. All the other areas that really needed it were never fixed. They also made a mess of my existing asphalt by leaving chunks of hot asphalt on top of it so it could not be removed. I will definitely never hire them again, as they do not stand behind their work or care about the quality.

Shoddy workmanship. Cut corners. Most of the cracks they said they would fill have filler next to them but none in the crack. We are supposed to put a HEAVY seal coat down but put only a light coat. Patching was done very poorly. No compaction was done with the road base before filling and areas are already opening up. Threatened to tear out their work when my neighbor wanted to get a bid to repair the sprinklers they damaged due to carelessness. Fail to follow up and resolve issues with their work. After seeing this review, the contractor called me and threatened me. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS UNLESS YOU WANT CRAPPY WORK!

Affie was anxious to do our project and take our money however when we voiced concerns and called him about fixing a few spots he was no where to be found. Since you cannot walk on the asphalt until later it is easy to say it looks good from a far. It is the details that are lacking and that is what we see everytime we go out. Affie was nice but we wish we had done more research.

Check the work as they go , do not loan them any tools. They broke a dusk to dawn shop light and back into the lower panel on my overhead door and broke it and left without saying a word ,they broke one of their own shovels and asked to barrow mine , not a problem except they never bothered to clean the asphalt out of it and left it for me to find it , left my water on and I did not catch that until the next morning . WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM (not a chance in hxxx) most of the work was poor quality at best, and they have no idea what level or straight even means. Have asked compaction and more cracks in pavement that even a seal coat will not help!

They should know what they are doing, not leaving problems to the customer after they did the job, the paving was done wrong.

When a neighbor comes to me and asks which company paved my driveway so they could make sure they did not call them to do any work. This says it all! I got a large driveway installed with new asphalt, the entire cost being $22,000. When I first met with Affie I was sold on the fact that he talked about establishing grade and making sure I had good drainage. I also spoke with him about compaction that was needed in places and specifically talked about where I had water pooling. I was told that he would take care of these concerns at which point I entered into a agreement. No grade was established and compaction was poor at best. Twice I have had them back to attempt repairs and although there is vast improvement, there is only so much that can be done overlaying a poor asphalt job to begin with. I have a huge low spot where 2 inches of water is pooling on the path from my house to my shop that I walk sometimes dozens of times per day. After the third trip to make corrections/repairs, I found a broken section of my landscaping curb that they did not even make any mention of. I again cleaned up their drink cups and gatorade bottles they left lying around and decided at this point I would never have them come back to do any additional work. I fully expect to have to replace all this asphalt and am sure I will have damage in places after this first winter season. The one good thing I will say is that my phone calls were returned promptly and as mentioned, there were attempts to make repairs for no additional charge. I was even offered money back in exchange for any repairs made. However, I wish I had used the professionals.

They did an acceptable plus job, however, they canceled the first appointment the day of the appointment. They did not call back to reschedule until the day before they wanted to come which was over a week later.

I hired this company to put in recycled asphalt in my yard. They came on the day they said they would be there and completed the work in a timely manner. Any issues that arose were taken care of completely.

This was run by a true pro-maintained good communication and managed his crew well. They came in with a clean, quick process-the driveway looks amazing. We would hire this crew again without hesitation!

Affie and his crew are â go gettersâ . They are a family business and they work together like a championship sports team. They completed the job on time with a high level of competence and very high quality. They are fun to watch because they are efficient and always smiling/ laughing. My job was a little bigger than their average (7k sq ft). Be sure to tell them what you want and they will make it happen! Couldnâ t recommend they more.
