Western heating and air came out to install a new blower fan a little over a year ago in my furnace. I didn’t realize it wasn’t installed correctly until the vibrations started to cause issues that another company addressed. When I called western to explain the issue instead of working with me they said it was out of warranty and they would have to not only recharge me for the parts and labor but would also have to charge me to have a technician come and look at it. Feels like a planned obsolescence money grab vs customer loyalty to me.

I was not home but it appeared the install went well. Only thing weird was a ladder behind my door was moved and a hose was left out. Huge fee for using a debit card. Water heater works great and I'm happy.

I worked with Dustin, and he was incredibly helpful. He didn't make me feel unimportant, or like I was wasting his time. He answered all my questions in a way I could understand. I was having issues with my Master Bedroom not getting as warm as the rest of my house. Great. Company I normally use couldn't get repairman out until next day. It was Saturday evening when heater quit working. It was miserable weather, raining, windy, & cold. Heater access is outside. I called Western. Repairman Dustin called me back and over the phone walked me through all the possible fixes. None worked so he said i'm on my way. He arrived on time, had a great attitude despite the weather and having to give up his Saturday night. Within 30 minutes or so had found and fixed the problem. Their after hours rate was reasonable and we are warm again. Thanks Western & Dustin y'all are my new "normal" company to call.

The ducts were filthy; Scott and Jake kept us informed as to process and findings. The house was treated respectfully and left very clean. I am very satisfied that we chose the best solution to our problem. Process was above and beyond!

I had a leaking natural gas pipe in the garage wall, I called three places who were too booked for service, the third place I called suggested Western Heating & AC. I checked their reviews and they were positive, so I called. I spoke with Chris, he was extremely polite and professional, he was able to schedule me in within 3 business days, and gave me a reasonable ballpark estimate after I sent him a photo. Western technicians Kyle and Justyce showed up as scheduled and were also very polite and professional. I showed them the work and left them to it. When the work was complete, I inspected their work and it was a very high quality and clean repair. I was impressed, five stars! There were some issues I had with coordinating a city inspector to come the same day, and when I expressed some dissatisfaction, Chris responded promptly to set things in order to verify my 100% satisfaction. Quality people, quality work, and they follow through on customer satisfaction, I’m very pleased and added their service to my calendar for future seasonal maintenance. Our technicians, Brian and James were right on time and got right to work. They kept us updated throughout the install and explained everything. Brian came in and showed us how to program the thermostat and explained how the new system was supposed to work. We are very pleased with the professionalism and quick work. They were here at 8:00am and done by 3:30pm. I definitely recommend this business to anyone who wants great service and a fair price. I have been a Western customer for several years and have always had great fast service!

It went great! Todd came out within hours of my calling the office and did a very extensive testing and evaluation of the entire system, explaining what he was doing and the results. No sales pressure, just gave what I felt an honest opinion. Josh came out the next day and measured all vents and furnace blower for air flow capacity. He calculated the proper size for the new unit, which was slightly smaller than the old one. Josh and Todd have excellent customer service, very personable, professional and listened to our concerns. Todd called his office immediately to get us on the schedule and booked us the following afternoon. John and David gave us a call before arriving ahead of schedule. I showed them where everything was and they promptly got to work with no breaks until they were finished. During the installation they found a crimped pipe created during the original house construction and repaired it. They said it could be part of the problem with a slow leak. Again, John and David were very friendly, great customer service and great work ethic's. They left the area cleaner than when they arrived. I hope Western recognizes these employee's for their great work. I would use Western again and highly recommend their service to everyone.

I received a text with a picture of the technician before he arrived. This was great because I knew who was coming to my home and exactly when to expect him. The technician was on time and explained everything as he went through the process of servicing my air conditioner and changing the filter. He was very polite and professional.

Very poorly. After they installed the new furnace, we smelled a natural gas leak in the furnace room which had not been present before the installation. We notified "Mr. Guinn" (the only person we had dealt with) of the gas leak, only to be told that "We needed to contact the "Installation Manager". (who ever that might be) Mr. Guinn gave us what he said was a direct line this "department" which turned out to be for the "front desk" which transferred us to a gentlement named "Dustin". We waited patiently for three days before they sent a repairman to address the issue. In the mean time we were left with no heat in the home during winter weather. We feel Western Heating and Air Conditioning should have moved "Heaven and Earth" to protect our safety and home by addressing the gas leak issue immediately on the day it was reported to them. Instead "Dustin" called 24 hours later to say the he could "Fit us in after his noon meeting". Needless to say we felt this lack of prompt attention to this gas leak was reckless and showed a total disregard for our safety. The gas leak problem was only one of several installation issues which were included in our written notification to Mr. Guinn of all the problems we had observed as a result of poor workmanship and lack of communication between the sales department and the installers. This lack of communication resulted in the unauthorized removal of our original furnace from our property. (We were going to use it in another location) Before the installers left on the day of installation, they were asked where our original furnace was. They stated they had taken it away earlier and did nothing to see to it that it was returned that day. This was an honest mistake on the part of the installers, but when our furnace was returned six days later it had been dismantled and seriously damaged due to rough handling. It was damaged beyond repair and now worthless to us. The original work proposal specifically noted that we wanted to keep our old furance. The installers also failed to install a condensate pump to support the new furnace (which was included in the initial bid proposal). this resulted in water flooding the floor and damaging wall next to it. The entire furnace is still improperly located in such a way that the door to the furnace closet cannot be closed properly. Over the last 90 days we have been shuffled from one department to the other. Repeated requests to speak to the owner went unheeded for months. Sadly when the owner did finally engage with us he made it clear by writing that our concerns were little more than quote: "...small issues you had". We had nothing to do with any problem which occurred, but you wouldn't know it from the attitude which appears to be from the top down at this company. For us, they did not live up to their website's claim that we would be served by “friendly and respectful technicians who will treat your home with the highest level of care” and “…will get the job done right the first time". It has been 90 days and they still have not be able to "get it right". We deeply regret our decision to retain the services of Western Heating and Air Conditioning. Kim Blough Markim Investments LLC

When our install manager talked to the customer about the gas smell Dustin strongly recommended, we come out that afternoon. Mr. [Member Name Removed] said that did not work for him so we came out the next morning, based on the customer's schedule. We are sorry for the miscommunication concerning the removal of the old furnace and we did compensate the client for that oversite. We made all the requested repairs the next day and at that time the customer expressed that he was satisfied. Whenever problems arise, we do make every attempt to resolve them promptly, which is why we have received the Super Service award for 10 years in a row."

Western Heating & Air is amazing! They came out on a Friday to service my furnace (regular) and found the heat exchanger cracked (potentially dangerous). I decided because I had to replace my furnace, I should just get my water heater replaced and upgraded. I can live in a cold house, but I can't live without hot water. When I made the decision to do this, they sent out Dennis the same day to talk to me about what I needed and my options for products and financing. I ask a lot of questions and he gave an answer to all of them. I have always wanted to have a utility sink in my garage and changing from a water heater tank to tankless made this a possibility as long as the new system was installed to leave enough room. Dennis listened to me and provided guidance toward what would best serve my needs and how we could make that possible. I scheduled the install for the following Wednesday, but I was very stressed about having so much work done without me there. Dennis offered to come back to my house Tuesday evening and run through everything. We even found some solutions which would make a future sink easier to install, and a better thermostat for a house that is difficult to heat. I was SO relieved and grateful. Dennis arrived with the crew the next morning and was able to provide them with all the information we had gone over. While they were working, they also discovered that my dryer vent wasn't connected and was blowing lint into my crawl space! They fixed that for me, too! WOW! They finished the job earlier than expected and when I arrived home, I found a beautiful (Yes, even a furnace and water heater can look beautiful!) and professional job, and a warm house!! I would also like to add that in my conversations with people prior to installation, two people who were, or currently are, in the business said it was a decent price, and both said Western is a really good company. The pictures show before and after.

Installation went well. However when it came time to service the equipment, they would only come out once a year. They hung up on me, did not return my phone calls. Then after two years of coming annually, I was notified that I could purchase an annual maintenance contract with them for approximately $200 a year and they would come out twice a year and service the ac/furnace. It was not a change of policy or anything because my friends purchased the same system from them and they received service twice a year from the time of installation.
