Corona caused a delay in getting supplies but Starratt was in good communications with me about the issues. Once the materials came in they ripped out the vinyl and installed the metal fence pretty quickly. They did an outstanding job and I have the best-looking fence in the neighborhood.

Barry responded to my message about the amount of fencing that we were requiring. Made an appointment to visually see where the fence was to be installed. Barry also removed 290ft of old fence before installing the new fence. The complete process went extremely well. We absolutely love it.

Mr. Starrat was great at solving our fence issue by reinforcing the posts. He's knowledgeable, experienced and came up with an affordable option. Which was great now that building supplies are so expensive. It looks great and we are very pleased. He also had great suggestions for securing our fence, as our neighbor adopted a large aggressive breed dog and we have little guys. Super helpful and a good problem solver.

Very well- Mr Starratt came out, made suggestions as to type of fencing would work in my situation, what materials were available and gave me a bid that seemed reasonable compared to others that I already had. When the materials arrived, he came out, installed a really well built, beautiful fence in just 3 days. He left the place cleaned up of debris and I would be happy to hire him again if I need another fence.

Barry did a very good job we had a section of a fence replaced because the original fence and gate where sub par. He did great work got it done fast and the price was fare. He worked well with my and my neighbor to get the best solution for us both. I would highly recommend him and would hire him again if I have any fencing needs.

Barry does great work. He was very easy to work with and extremely helpful in walking us through options for a large project. He has a ton of knowledge and doesn't try to force you into any direction. His work is quality and the finished project reflects the pride he takes in his efforts. Highly recommended, but be prepared to wait since he is in high demand.

Barry came out and did a presurvey. We discussed several options and decided on a plan. He and his son came back to install the fencing and gate and he manufactured a special barrier for the other side of the house. He was thorough and had good ideas. The work was completed promptly and was very well done. I would hire him again.

Barry was super great to work with. We received 4 other bids from local contractors and Barry was the most thorough and knowledgeable about fence and gate building. He was responsive, showed up when he said he would, and doesn't overextend himself - meaning he doesn't have multiple projects going on at once. We appreciated that even if we had a bit of a wait until it was our turn. He uses high quality fencing material and years of knowhow. My neighbor and I share a fence. Barry accommodated both our schedules, needs, and wants. He originally told us he was booked about 8 weeks out but due to a last minute cancelation was able to get to us much quicker. It only took him 1.5 days and, as you can see from the pictures, it looks fantastic. We couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend him.

This company isn't the one that did the Work, Desert Sun did it. Went excellently, very good job done by a dedicated and meticulous worker.

While this was a smaller scale job for Barry, he went above and beyond to help me out. I had a gate in bad shape and needed to be repaired on a deadline. Barry was more than accommodating. Professional, honest and top-notch in quality. After 20 years in my home I will need a much larger fence repair or replace before too long and Barry will be the one I will call. Highly recommend.

Barry and his son did an incredible job. They removed approx. 200 linear ft of old wooden fencing held together with wire and steel posts from numerous repairs over the years. This was replaced with a beautiful cedar fence with galvanized steel posts set in concrete. Barry went above and beyond with great attention to detail. He installed (3) wooden rails, instead of the typical (2) to prevent any problems over time. He installed (2) gates; one was 14 ft wide (comprised of two 7 ft gates with their own drop bars) and then a separate 6 ft gate. The gates were custom welded galvanized frames with matching (3) wood rails. They work flawlessly. Will hire Starratt Custom Fences again for future projects. A++ locally owned, family business.

Barry is very skilled and knowledgeable. His many years of quality fence building is clearly evident in not only the finished product, but the careful and precise steps taken along the way to ensure everything is completed to the highest level. From the quality of the materials to taking the time to 3-rail the entire fence line. He explains the materials available, their quality and their cost. He is a pleasure to be around and is very personable and relatable. His son Kyle, who works alongside Barry, is very professional and detailed oriented as well. Those two guys are so knowledgeable and have truly fantastic personalities. I absolutely love the finished product and am amazed at not only the quality of his work, but the beauty of the Port Orford cedar. It truly looks furniture grade especially compared to the wood you would find at the big-box stores. I will definitely hire Barry again when I need more work.
