"Our memory of the event is that [removed member name] ask for an opinion and a referral to a structural engineer. The engineer did not work for us nor were they specified to be used by us. They were a referral only and hired by M[removed member name]. We submitted a detailed line item bid to complete work, including rebuilding over spanned trusses, leveling floors, repairing and painting cracked interior drywall based on the findings of the licensed structural engineer. It appears that the [removed member name] chose to implement a different solution than the one outlined by the engineer. I am sorry they were unhappy with the services and charges to them by the engineer. We did no work for and made no billings to the [removed member name]. I hope it solved the problems that they had over the long run."
