Dan was very professional and also friendly. My bathroom remodel was not a big project and some contractors I asked did not even bother to send an estimate. Dan sent the estimate within 2 days by email and then I asked him to send me tie bid in writing with references he did this also in a timely manner. Dan did all the work himself and he did a great job. He cleaned up every day so there was not a big mess. He stuck to his estimate. He did such a nice job I gave him a bonus.

The old deck and roof were torn down and new supports, flooring and roof were installed. Everything went very smoothly as far as I could tell. The work was finished on time, the site was cleaned up and it looked beautiful. I did have to do the seal work myself this spring since it was too wet and cold to do it at the time. It looks wonderful and I am enjoying it immensely. He was very professional, easy going and punctual. I enjoyed the process.

Great job and great overall experience. During the whole process he made one bad cut on a handrail that could be seen and he tried his best to fix it. We were satisfied with the fix. Then, TWO YEARS LATER that cut started to fall apart due to weather. I called him back and within a week he was back at our house fixing the problem. The fix looks much better now and it is much stronger. Plus he didn't charge us for the repair. He was always on time, he worked hard at making the deck right and even let me save some money by doing the leg work for the permit. I would strongly recommend Milholland Contruction for your next deck. He used to build decks in the Seattle area and we wanted a portion of the deck to be water proofed for the patio below. He had experience with a product that would do just that for us and he was able to install it over part of our patio. You can see this in one of the photos.
