MERRY MAIDS

My problem was with the office staff.  I wanted a specific day of the week with two girls and always the same girls so they would become used to my needs and know the house layout.  I was constantly having  my days and times changed.  It was a constant battle with them.  They would send only one girl or have them come later than I asked.    I gave them several chances to coreect this problem and finally had to  stop their service.  I would not  refer them to anyone...

This was the second time I've used Merry Maids.  In 2010, I had them do a deep cleaning, then return every 4 weeks to clean the whole house and deep clean the kitchen, laundry room, and 2 bathrooms.  Started out great and at a reasonable price.  By the end of the summer, the cleaning lady was spending only a couple hours at my house, which means it wasn't getting cleaned as well.  When I decided to try again in 2012, I opted for a one-time cleaning with an option to resume the regular cleaning schedule.  The ladies did a fabulous job, but did not clean everything (such as the tops of the cabinets), as they did in 2010.  Also, the price has sky-rocketed.  I've decided to clean my own house.

When I called about the service, a representative came out the next day, a Tuesday. We talked about what I wanted, then walked through my house taking notes. Then she figured out provided several prices and options and scheduled work for Thursday. Wednesday morning, after talking with my husband, I called to ask for a different service than originally discussed. No problem. They did exactly what I wanted and will be cleaning my house every 4 weeks as long as I want. If the scheduled day is inconvenient for me, I'm free to change days. There is no contract. All employees are background checked, and the company is licensed and bonded. I'm completely satisfied with Merry Maids.
