Mayo Custom Painting

Wayne was referred by a mutual friend. He came out and gave me a fair price on painting the exterior of my house. His work was good for the body of the house and was within the time he said it would take. I have two double doors in my entry that was painted a dark brown (same color) as it was previous to him painting my house. After less than a year the paint began to bubble. I contacted Wayne and he came out and stripped the doors and painted again with new product. When spring came, the doors bubbled again. I contacted Wayne. He informed me that he did all that he can do and that it’s my issue to deal with now. As a contractor myself, if I had this attitude towards difficulties in my line of work and told my clients to figure it out themselves, I wouldn’t be in business for very long. It disappoints me to have to write this review because I did like Wayne as a person but I don’t think it’s fair how he addressed this issue and walked away. You touch it (or paint it) and there becomes an issue down the road it’s the responsibility of the contractor to resolve the issue.
