Mastertech Diesel Injection

I took my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a Duramax diesel into Mastertech who quoted me approximately $3,500 after Peterson Motors quoted me approximately $5,000 to replace the injectors. Mastertech is a certified Bosch rebuilder of the injectors and probably would have supplied the injectors to Peterson.
After installing the injectors there was still a problem with the crankcase filling with fuel so the wanted to replace the high pressure injector pump which would have been over $1,000 but they were willing to do it for their cost or about $800 (the pump alone was about $600) but I wanted them to recheck the lines going to the injectors again before doing the pump replacement. After some discussion they made me a deal that if it was not the pump then the pump installation would be free. I agreed and left.
The next day I dropped by to inspect the old pump that was removed and it did seem a little worn and I left again. That evening they called and said it did not fix the problem and they were replacing the injector lines. In so doing they discovered that Peterson Motor's mechanic dented the seat of one of the injectors when he pried the line off to inspect the injectors when I got their quote.
Mastertech stuck to their deal and did not charge me anything for the pump even though I offered to split the cost.
They could have just replaced the lines and said it was the pump but they were honest. I would highly recommend them and I trust them with any vehicle of mine.
