I found John Truax on Craigslist. My grass was having some issues and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. He offered some advice and knew I needed it aerated because the thatch was thick. He did his job and it only cost $35. Sure enough, with some fertilizer and the aeration, my lawn looked better as the summer went on. He told me that some people aerate every year because of the soil we have in the valley, but every other year is fine. I will hire him again.
