Linane was testy and belligerent the entire job. He left epoxy grout haze on all of the polished marble tiles, defeating the purpose of having polished tile. He was very difficult when I told him about the haze. He polished 2 tiles and said he was done. Those 2 tiles look beautiful, so he knows how to remove the haze, but he won't do it. I have talked to several contractors and suppliers and no one knows how to fix the haze problem. Steve Linane knows how to do it, but he won't. Last week I received a letter from his attorney demanding the $1,000 I held out to fix the haze problem. I would gladly pay him to finish the job, but he prefers to go to court. Watch out for this guy. DO NOT hire him.

It went perfectly. Steve is an artist and very much a perfectionist. Enjoyable to be around and always on time, prepared to get to work.
