Express Plumbing Services (EPS) looked good from reviews, but I was very disappointed. On the plus side the plumber did complete the repair. But a number of issues: • Overpriced for minor work (even online cost estimators had the job typically at $200 or less and I paid $294) • No ability to review quote due to plumber’s equipment issues prior to work starting and no receipt • I had to provide tools for the job to the plumber • Flaky on show up time and parking including erroneous communication from their office • Tried to upsell on other products and services I called EPS to replace the washer/gasket between a toilet tank and bowl. A pretty simple fix but living in a Condo I wasn’t sure I would have all of the tools on hand to fix things that might go wrong while doing the repair. The woman at EPS that I talked with who made the appointment indicated that the van the plumber would have should fit in our parking garage. So we scheduled an appointment for the next day. The plumber called me the following day pretty much on time, and said he was 15-20 minutes out. I described our parking garage and where he would need to park, then waited for him at the garage. 30 minutes later, no plumber. Finally, I get a call after bugging the office and he is unable to fit in the garage. He asks me about what I need done, and I describe the simple toilet gasket replacement and he describes this as a “complete rebuild” of the toilet for $250 and tries to get me to buy a new toilet (!!). I say “no” to the new toilet and that $250 is awfully expensive, and he says he will work on this and call me back. For a long time I don’t hear from him, and am starting to look into just doing the repair myself. So over an hour later he calls saying he is at the door to our condo and needs to be let in. Heck, I thought he had given up. He comes in and is holding a tank-to-bowl gasket in his hand and nothing else. Just to check on where he was during this time, I asked him if he spent that time working on our job or something more useful? In answer he agreed he wasn’t working on our job. I let him in and he looks at the toilet and says the gasket will fix it. And says he has to do a quote first. 10 minutes later he has his smaller iPhone with a quote for $294 (!!) on it that I cannot read and he can’t figure out how I can sign (I believe he spent most of those 10 minutes trying to get the quote typed into his iPhone). He says he has no control over the price as it is programmed in by EPS which he should have called EPS for me and put me on for a discussion – but he didn’t. At this point I just wanted the work done and over with, I told him to go ahead. He gives up on me signing the quote and begins the work. Right away he comes out and asks me for tools to do the job (a deep well socket, extension and ratchet) which fortunately I have. At this point he does the work which itself takes a total of about 20 minutes. But if anything had gone wrong during the repair, he would not have had tools for it!! He comes out and wants payment, which I make, but he cannot figure out how to send me a receipt. At this point he has only been in our Condo for a total of about 40 minutes with likely at least half of that time spent trying to deal with his iPhone. Right before leaving he says he would like me to give him a good review so he can get $50!!!! 10 minutes after he has left I get an email with an invoice to be paid, but not a receipt saying I paid. Never using EPS again. Ever.

It went fine. We suggested an idea and they were able to reroute the line so that we didn’t have to run a new line through the yard to the alley. This saved us several thousand dollars. They worked fast and didn’t pressure us into purchasing something more expensive.

It was a challenging install because the space was so tight and the water and drain lines difficult to access. Jeb at Express Plumbing had to install a new supply line and adapt the drain line to the new unit. He also installed an access panel so that the water could be shut off to the unit in the future if necessary. Upon testing, the dishwasher did not leak at that time; however, Jeb had to come out a second time because the drain line became kinked and the dishwasher would not drain. He was able to shorten the drain hose and loop it so that it drained properly. There was no charge for this follow up repair. Dishwasher is working fine now. Jeb was very professional and thorough. Thank you Express Plumbing!

It went great. They showed up on time, were polite and finished everything fast even though they had to locate the tank and dig themselves.

FANTASTIC! I've used EPS of Nampa, ID on several previous occasions. From the office staff to the technicians, they have always been a responsive, courteous, professional and competitively priced service company. They are my "Go-To" plumbing services company.

The plumber was great but I was really surprised to be changed an extra $65.00 for the works.  He worked under 2 hours (the contract says 2 hours of labor), but he had to go to the store to get some parts, but still, he managed to be back and finished the job.  At the end, he charged an extra $65.00 for the "parts" and also for some "starting the water supply" -- which I thought one of the reasons I called the job for.  Although I wasn't disappointed with the plumber, I'm afraid I cannot recommend this company to friends and families because of "surprised" extra charges.

These guys were awesome, from booking the appointment through to getting the job done. I've been dealing with a leaky outdoor hose bibb for several months and had already paid $50 for a patch job that ultimately (and quickly) failed. I called, they had plenty of availability and got me booked within the next week. Cole called me when he was on his way over, and from start to finish, the job only took about 50 minutes. I'd call these guys again in a heartbeat for any plumbing issue.

The service writer for the project scope and bid process, Dan B, listened closely to my layman's explanation of what I wanted accomplished. He then examined the existing system piping, pumps, and valve systems, both within the mud room in the residence, and  the crawl space of the residence for both wells. He took photographs, and prepared a cursory, (very understandable to the layman), drawing of the proposed installation of valves and piping. (Not noted above in the scope of necessary procedures is the fact that two additional holes would need to be bored through the foundation stem wall to facilitate piping routing from the crawl space into the mud room.)  Due to the close proximity of the existing piping and valving system that was to be preserved, the concrete drill ordinarily used for boring was to large, so Dan B, the Service writer and installation journeyman plumber, would need to return to their shop to retrieve the appropriate size boring tool for this job, and a helper, and complete the project the following day. As stated, Dan B, along with his helper arrived the next morning, and within a few hours, he was ready to pressure check and service routing check, the two well service project.. He explained the valving switching installation for the service I had requested, and despite the seemingly complex project, it was very easy to see which well service valves controlled the service to the house and sprinklers, and how to switch the service valves from a two well service simultaneously, to an isolated service from either well. Additionally, the existing two well system switching valves were located in the crawl space. The new system routing that Dan B created, included the re-routing of those two service switching valves from the crawl space into the mud room. Now, there's no need to crawl under the house to switch between well service systems!  Very nice touch!!!  I want to note here, two factors that I found to be significant in the experience I had with Express Plumbing, and Dan B.  The largest was a surprise not typical with jobs of this scope. The completed project came in significantly lower than the initial bid!!!!  (There's no way to know what your project scope may be, and the cost of materials and labor related to it would be, but for my project and the complexity and my rural location outside of Marsing, ID, was an extremely pleasant experience). Secondly, there were no delays, complications, or diversions from the proposed project scope. This was a professional job completed by courteous, conscientious, and competent individuals.  From the telephone office scheduling and information staff, to the project personnel, you all deserve a well earned,  THANK YOU!!!  Any future service needs I have will come to you!

Everything went great. We had a hard time locating the septic tank because we had never pumped it before and the map provided by southwest district was too old. They came out with a locator ball and followed it electronically from the toilet all the way to the septic tank. Once it was found the very friendly gentleman offered to dig to expose the septic lid for a minimal fee. Once it was dug up he pumped out the sewage, did full visual inspection of the tank and baffle, cleaned it out real good, and put it all back together. He explained everything step by step so there weren't any surprises along the way. Very professional and courteous and would recommend them to anyone.

I called Express Plumbing Service to pump my septic tank. The office lady was great to work with and told me someone could be here that day. The guy showed up on time and was very professional. He dug up my tank lid and pumped the tank. Afterwords he explained how the septic system works and gave me advice on keeping it maintained. I would definitely recommend this company for any plumbing or septic services.

Plumber (we don't remember his name) expressed his irritation for having to come out to the house to check our sink, even sighing loudly and complaining about the snow. On the day he came back to fix our sink after getting permission from our landlord to work on the sink, he asked about the and quot;idiotand quot; that had put whatever had plugged the sink in there. Overall, they were very unprofessional.

It went really well. I had to shut off the water to the kitchen and wanted someone to do the repairs ASAP. Unfortunately, it was a few days before Christmas. Brad Jordan came over the day I called, was very helpful, and had a solution to the problem that another plumber had not considered. He was able to get someone back to repair it right after the holidays and they did a great job. Had to cut into the basement wall and was great about cleaning up. Price was lower than a quote I received from a different provider.
