After promptly inspecting and bidding our needed work, the crew arrived when scheduled with all needed equipment, studied, then performed the tricky cutting without any harm to the HOA fence, our masonry wall, surface sprinkler system, shrubs or neighbor's fence -- all of which were within an arms length of where the wood needed for fall. Their climbing / rope / saw work was awesome -- best morning entertainment I've had in years. They promptly cleaned up after, and placed 2+ yards of shred on my driveway which we've since used for ground cover. -- All for a fair price.

Great service from start to finish! From the initial site visit to give us a bid (Thank you Kory!) to the day they came out to trim our large Maple a few month later during the winter months! Fast, professional, friendly and they cleaned up everything very nice! Not only did they do a great job, they understand the science of trees and what to do and not to do to ensure the job is done correctly and to maintain the health of the tree. I also had them come out in the spring to trim our large Pine Tree. We will be using them again when we need more tree service and care. The price was also very fair and reasonable. Badly. I was so shabbily treated by Done-Rite Tree Company in Boise Idaho, that I feel I have to let others know. I have a couple of very old silver maples that were in good health. They needed to be thinned a little, and have the limbs removed which were encroaching on the power lines and our roof. Not only did the folks at Done-Rite way over prune the trees in 103F weather, taking out a huge amount of wood in some areas and completely missing others, but they irreparably damaged a metal sculpture/birdbath in my yard ($400), and then moved it and didn't mention hitting it. When I sent them a letter, with pictures, about this, along with their check (they charge extra for using a credit card), I heard nothing. It's been 3 months now, and I'm figuring I'm not going to hear anything. What a terrible way to conduct business. As a person who owns her own business, I find this inexcusable, annoying, and just depressing.

They removed the tree and ground the stump down and took away the debris. He did a great job - I wasn't home when the work was done, but my neighbor was - and she was thrilled that they didn't even scratch the fence! I would recommend them to anyone!

I was extremely impressed, I have used them at several homes to either trim or remove a tree that was dead.  I am on my Fourth home and already had another visit to have them check a tree that looks like it isn't going to make it.  I owe them a review for all the hard work they have done for me.  Gary Butcher has an excellent group of guys that know what they are doing, i called explaining my concern, they came out, walked through it with me and were able to point out what I needed to have a healthier Tree.  We agreed on the price ( I honestly can't remember how much it was, but it was a fair price to me ), and they got to work the next day.  My tree's have always been well taken care of by Done Rite, the best part was after the trim of the branches that were dying looking, my tree's flourished.  It was the best those tree's looked out of the 5 years we had lived there.  The one they removed you couldn't even tell was there when they were finished, they literally grind the stump away and leave perfect soil/mulch to regrow whatever you want.
Due to their knowledge and work ethic, I don't even consider any other tree service.  I have them programmed in my phone.  They are the best and I will continue to work with Gary and Company on any tree services going forward.  This review was long overdue, but I just joined angle's list.

I can't say enough about the excellent job that Done Rite Tree Company did for us.
They removed a large ash tree from the side of a brick patio in our back yard they needed to work around the patio, a wrought iron fence, the plantings in our's and our neighbor's yards - and a masonry pizza oven in that same neighbor's yard!
Not only was the tree removed with no problems, but both yards were immaculate when they finished - there was literally no debris left. They also ground down the stump, so the only evidence there was ever a tree there previously was a little sawdust mixed in with the existing mulch.
Done Rite Tree Company is an absolute pleasure to work with, and we are defitely going to use them to maintain our other trees and shrubs.
P.S.: They knew we were in a hurry to have this tree removed, so placed us on a cancellation list, and then promptly called us back when they had an unexpected opening - thank you, Gary and staff, for taking such good care of us!

them to move it. After trying to ignore me, even listening and then simply turning away, I was very upset because I had to stand next to the wood chipper to try to talk to them. My husband tried to deal with them and they were profane and threatening. None of them would listen. Three pretty scary-looking guys with a chainsaw acting belligerently and cursing and walking away with very angry body language is not my idea of professional. I would NEVER hire these guys - I'm afraid of them.

5 young, strong men showed up on time, and had all the equipment lined out and ready to roll within minutes. They had two trees to cut down, a large stump to remove. All debris was cleaned up and hauled away. It took about two hours, and the place looked so much better. I will definitely do business with this company again!

We had part of a large Willow fall into our neighbor's pasture during a wind storm. We called several tree services and Done Rite was the only one who called us back. They came out the next day and removed the fallen tree from the neighbor's pasture. They did a remarkable clean up job. Two weeks later we had them come back and remove two large trees along with removing the stumps. They came when they said they would, they were very skilled, friendly, courteous and entertaining! Once again the cleanup was remarkable and stumps are gone. They have all the tools of the trade. They make quite a statement with all their large equipment!

They did an excellent job. They came when they said they would. They came on time to give me an estimate. I felt his pricing was reasonable. They came back when they said they would. They did what they said they would and they cleaned up their mess. They were punctual, reliable and professional.

company was very responsive and gave a quick estimate. it did not take long to get the work scheduled. it didn't appear that the employees that came to do the work were aware of what was to be done, or where. not a huge deal since it was obviously a very busy time of year. the job was ok. the main areas of concern where removed but I felt like a bit more would have been done but this is hard to communicate unless you paint the branches you want trimmed or babysit the job. Unfortunately, over the next two weeks, I had neighbors throwing branches in to our yard because they were not picked up out of their's when the work was done. the neighbors were both gone when I attempted to let them know about the work being done, so I will deal with that. Unfortunately, once I was able to speak with one of the neighbors, they informed me that their grill was dented. All of this could have been from random things that had nothing to do with the work that was done but felt the experience was worth sharing.

They arrived on time, reviewed with me what I wanted done and then got right to work. I have had them climb and trim large trees before but it is always amazing to me how high they get and how thorough a job they do. They left virtually no mess when they were done. The trees they had trimmed for me about 10 years ago flourished after the trimming and I'm hoping the same will be true for these.

We chose Done Rite because they had a certified arborist on staff, and their estimate was the lowest of the three companies we interviewed. I wasn't there when the work was done so didn't provide any instruction about how much to prune but was very satisfied with the results. The trees looked great afterwards, and the yard was spotless. We would definitely use them again.

The crew arrived when they said, they reviewed the work to be done, and got right to it. During the process they took good care to protect our house, yard (put down large pieces of plywood to protect the grass), and other plants. When they left, the trees AND YARD, looked better than when they arrived. Great job!

They come out every two years. We have a lot of trees. They are extremely knowledgeable. They always clean up after themselves. When they are finished, it looks like no one was ever there. I like the fact that the landscaping doesn't look as if it has been merely trimmed. They are really busy because they are the best around. I wish I could get them quicker at times. I will definitely Done Rite Tree Company again in the future.

The job went well. They were very good with the tree they took down. The pruning of the other tree, in the front yard, they did what they said they would do but I thought it was a little bit expensive. The one at the back costed $300 and it was huge but than the one in the front yard just to do a little pruning costed $75 and that seemed unreasonable to me. They were very good at cleaning up. They came when they said they would, they did what they said they would and then they went away and you could never even tell that they were there. I would use their services again in the future. I have used them twice.

They arrived on time and worked non-stop until done. Our drive-way actually looked better after they had cleaned up than it did before they began. The only downside was I would have liked for them to trim a few more of the lower hanging branches. I was not home when they finished.
