"Joe, We are sorry you were disappointed. You are correct that we did exceed the estimate. We exceeded the estimate for a couple of reasons. You and your wife needed help packing up items. We assisted with that which was not in the estimate. There was also additional items to move. This was not in the estimate. We did not learn about this until arrival. We had estimated one truckload of items. We ended up moving about a truckload and a half. You had stated during the walk- thru estimate that you were selling many items in a yard sale. The Captain of the move did mention during the move a couple of times that we would exceed the estimate due to the additional items and packing and you seemed good with that. My wife reached out to you the day after the move to make sure you were satisfied and you stated you were not. I then came over to talk to you in person. I asked you about us doing the packing and how much packing we did during the move. Your reply was, "I can't rememeber." We also talked about the additional items we moved and did a walk-thru inventory. I thought we had resolved everything after we talked in person. Your final cost was actually $497.14 more that the original estimate, not $850. We packed and moved your items in 12 hours, not 13. And again, we moved additional items and did additonal packing which was not what you said we would be doing during the estimate. Had you given us correct information we probably would have been less than or right at the estimate. Again, we are sorry you were disappointed.
