BFI/ALLIED WASTE SERVICES OF IDAHO

We’ve only been here a couple of months and we don’t know if there are any other options. Our only complaint is that they don’t have an organic recycling system. Where we came from, which was Olympia, Washington, they not only recycled paper, cardboard, plastic and that kind of stuff but they also had an option for yard waste like branches, grass clippings and that kind of stuff.

BFI told me they had come out 2x to dump but "couldn't lift the container," and told me that I would have to dump 1/2 of it out before they would come out again. I said, "You expect me to crawl into the container and pick out sod and concrete, piece by piece?" The young man said, "Yes, before we'll come out again." I said, "That's ridiculous, IT'S A GARBAGE CAN!" I asked what the next bigger size was and was told "20 yards." I asked how much it was and was told it was $300 to rent and $200 to dump, but the young man then added, "But you'll have to only fill it 1/2 full as well, or we won't dump it." I was mystified! What an absolute waste of money and what a worthless service BFI provides. It was going to cost me a fortune to dump garbage!! So, I got on a web site and found a young man from Nampa. He just finished the whole thing, dump fees, gas, multiple trips for guess how much . . . . $250 flat fee! BFI IS A RIP OFF!!
