Aleck's Auto Glass

I was referred to Aleck by my Honda dealer; they told me he'd call me back to schedule an appointment. He was very quick to do so, very helpful and flexible with the actual scheduling -- for an appointment only two days out, no less! -- and friendly throughout, all of which set the tone for our entire interaction.
He and his partner arrived at my place exactly on time. Actually, they were a bit early; an hour before we'd scheduled to begin, they called to say they were running ahead of schedule, and would I like to move the time up a bit? When I agreed, they proceeded to arrive exactly as early as they said they would. They got right to work, and had my cracked windshield removed and replaced within the hour. When I asked to watch them work, they explained what they were doing and invited me to ask questions. (I now know a great deal more about urethane and Honda-made rear-view mirror bearings, which is an unexpected treat.) They kept everything clean as they worked; they didn't even have to clean up at the end, so assiduous had they been about picking up strips of old urethane and bits of cruft as they generated it.
Quite frankly, for me to be anything less than fully satisfied with Aleck's work, my windshield would literally have to fall off my car sometime in the next few weeks. I heartily recommend this business to anyone looking for windshield repairs.

The windshield was severely cracked from road construction in the area and my wife was leaving in the morning on an extended trip.  After visiting the Honda dealer they determined it was not a warranty issue and suggested Aleck Autoglass was the best guy to fix it.  The guy they use in tough situations.
I called Aleck and he answered the call, took my information and we decided to meet in the area since I was out looking for a solution.  We met within 30 minutes of the original call and he determined what was needed to replace the windshield.  He was very knowledgeable regarding the various options for windshields that could fix the problem and the best source for a replacement.  I expressed to him that I was attempting to get it fixed that afternoon.  He committed to going to the supplier and picking up the required parts and meeting me in a convenient location where he could do the work.  One hour later, he met me in a location where I could stay occupied while Aleck and an assistance performed the work.
They knew what they were doing, had all the right tools, were focused on doing it right and within 40 minutes had the new windshield installed.  I did have to stay after they left to allow the sealant the proper time to set up.
All the insurance paperwork was handled by Aleck and I was on my way.

I was travelling back from Sun Valley down highway 20 towards Mountain Home where the road had been chip-sealed. There was still loose gravel on the road. Caution signs were out and the speed limit was reduced to 35mph. Lots of gravel was flying, hitting the cars traveling with us. A military convoy of about 20 vehicles were approaching, traveling at or above the speed limit. Their big tires on the humvees and trucks were really spraying the gravel. The rock that hit us was sizeable. Other vehicles were also hit and had their windshields broken (several of us stopped at the intersection of highways 20/84 to inspect. Six other vehicles had broken windshield.

My windshield cracked after it was hit by a rock on the Interstate. I contacted the dealership where I purchased my car, and they recommended that I call Aleck's Auto Glass for the windshield replacement. I left a message for Aleck on a Monday morning, and he returned my call that same morning. He let me know that he had a mobile service and could come replace my windshield the following day. He arrived at my house at the estimated time and completed the replacement for the price he had quoted over the phone. He was nice to work with and very professional.
