Aero Rooter

Vince Eason showed up on time. His estimate was precisely correct. He worked diligently, and even went to the hardware store for special hoses because the manufacturer shipped the wrong hoses. He responded immediately to a problem. (The builder had run the feed lines backward, so he had to redo the hot/cold hookups.)
I have used Vince often over the past 7 years.... installing showers, replacing a water heater in a really tight space, and fixing various plumbing problems. His work is excellent. When he fixes something, it stays fixed. His prices are in line with, or below the market. He responds rapidly, especially in emergency situations. He NEVER gives you the scare stories and hard sell that you get with certain plumbing franchises. in short, he has my highest recommendation.

I called Vince Tuesday night.
He came on Wednesday morning. 
He found the problem immediately - it was a missing washer and slightly cracked connecter in the drain line. I hadn't spotted the problem in a couple of weeks of looking. 
Vince had the parts on his truck - it required less than a dollar worth of parts. 
He fixed the problem in about 5 minutes. 
Then he charged me a ridiculously low amount for the call because he said he couldn't charge me more than that for a simple fix. 
In previous work Vince has done for me, he has provided permanent, high quality solutions to difficult plumbing problems, including seemingly intractable leaks and replacing a water heater in a crawl space where he had to excavate just to make room for it. He did the plumbing for a kitchen remodel and a bathroom remodel, that were seamless, high quality work. His prices are reasonable, to the point where I worry that he charges too little, especially because he is such a perfectionist in creating the best solution to plumbing problems. He shares my attitude toward quality… that any job should be done with the highest standards, and at a fair price. I have never met a plumber who goes the extra mile for the customer the way Vince does, 
Let's cut to the chase: Vince does high quality work with incredible integrity. He is my first, second and third choice for any plumbing problem. There are people whose cards I keep close by. Vince's tops the list. He is simply one of the finest craftsmen it has been my honor to know. I will be calling him again. 

I had a sewer stoppage that needed immediate attention. He was out within the hour and snaked the problem in 15 minutes. They idenified a section of pipe leading to the city that has tree roots growing into it and will need to be repiped soon. Estimate to remove the tree, dig, and replace part of sewer was $800. In addition, there is a 90 day guarantee on the work. 

UPDATE 03/20/13:  We decided to remove the said tree and repair the sewer ourselves only to find that the tree and location of the sewer was not where Aero Rooter said.  To confirm, we called Aero Rooter to which he offered his service to find the exact location again for $175 and followed up by saying that maybe the city could help.  We already called the city who was kind enough to come out and mark the location (for free) which was 80 feet away from the original spot and 5 trees over from the original information given by Aero Rooter.  While they did successfully remove the blockage temporarily, the major work was misidentified and now we have lost two trees due to bad information.

Immediately pushed me to replace 100 ft of yard drain for $10000. Was supposed to dig up and repair where plug was for $800. Two guys came out and dug with shovels for 1 hour and decided the whole yard need replacing... I was unfortunately out of town and argued to get just 40 replaced. They left the yard a mess and left the drain cleanout a foot out of the ground. Will have to spend several hours cleaning up the trench site and redo the cleanouts.  Always get 2 or more quotes. After I got a quote for $1000. Live and learn ,,, never again. $4200 down the drain.....

He was wonderful.  I was very pleased.  The price was reasonable.  I called him at noon yesterday and he was here at 5pm and finished the work within an hour.  I asked him why he worked so late and he said that he understood that people can't afford to take off work to be there during the day.  I thought that was very nice of him.
