"Jackie - We prefer to communicate and operate in truth. The truth is upon initial communication with you, we disclosed that Shane could only stain by hand. That is when you actually offered, and preferred, to buy the sprayer so it could be sprayed. You did not want it hand-stained. We drove on our time and dime to shop for you, at your request. While he was working you told Shane you would be right back to pay that day, you knew this, leaving him there with your house fully open and unattended. You did not return until much, much later. So yes, when we shop and spend our money on materials and equipment you wanted us to buy for you, we need to be reimbursed immediately. He text you multiple times to ask you when you were going to return and you kept responding to him you would be there shortly. Never did the discussion of invoicing take place. You did ask Shane to remove your chair, which he did. If there was anything you were not happy with, you certainly could have spoken up during that walk-through and asked him to touch up items before you paid him. It has been since March when the job was done and this is the first we've heard from you."
