About us
McDougal & Sons specializes in professional lawn mowing, string trimming, edging, & blower cleanup for residential and commercial customers in the Greater Des Moines Metro Area (Ankeny, Altoona, Clive, Des Moines, Urbandale, Waukee, & West Des Moines). This narrow focus of services allows us to deliver outstanding quality at a competitive rate. Established in 2009, McDougal & Sons Lawn Care, LLC, was started to give the McDougal sons an opportunity to make money for their hockey club participation fee (Des Moines Oak Leafs). Every year the business nearly doubled and after ten years, we now care for thousands of lawns each season. In addition to our satisfied customers, one of Central Iowa's largest lawn and landscaping companies subcontracts many of their customers to us.
