Pool is wonderful: warmed, clean, uncrowded, open great hours. I would have joined if the membership fee wasn't so high. The monthly fee is OK. Tried unsuccessfully to negotiate a and quot;pool onlyand quot; rate.

There's always space available on the machines if you're into that, and the groups and classes are great.

Facility is not huge which I like. Trainers are helpful when asked. Has a small pool downstairs. Fitness classes not well advertised resulting in C grade for communication.

It's wonderful. They have got everything. They have old people so there is a large contingent of retired people. I am retired, but I am retired slightly younger. There are lots of retired people there. There are a lot of overweight people there. They have discreetly put the hard body workout downstairs in a nice big swank room so fat, old, and out of shape don't have to watch them do that. They have a million machines. They have a full size wonderful warm swimming pool. They have a sauna and a steam room and a hot tub that are all downstairs. They have lots of trainers and lots of personal assistants. You get 3 personal sessions. The price is a little high. Many insurance companies are now making up a significant portion of the fee for the insured person. I can't go right away because now I burned my back so I can't swim. I fell asleep on a heating pad. Fitness World West is really nice. The people are nice and they are helpful. It's big and there is lots of parking. It's just off the interstate. I chose them over the competition because of the pool. It's a nice big full size clean pool. Everything is perfect except that it's pricey. It's direct pay. They pull it out of your checking account. If you arrange for a personal trainer, they probably work on commission. I think that a lot of the older people have personal trainers. They are open from 5 to 11 on weekdays and 7 to 7 on the weekends which certainly falls in every hour I would need. There are some 24-hour places I know, but they don't have anybody there. They have got 100 cameras, but if you run into trouble, you are sunk. The gym is clean and tidy and picked up. They have got all the equipment. They even have a little machine that will spin the water out of your swimsuit. They have got hair dryers, mirrors, and lockers. You can sign up for a towel for an extra charge. They have got all the drinks. They have got a very friendly reception area. They can always find a personal trainer if you have a question. I went into a one year contract since last month. Naturally my health insurance would have reduced my price significantly had I known that they were going to offer that in January, but I am already a member.
