I set up a time to have my garage door opener replaced and decided to surprise my boyfriend with a new garage door opener on his garage as well. They showed up, got right to work, explained everything to me and cleaned up their mess. The power cord in my garage (the first one installed) did melt a little due to my not being tall enough to close the case so I asked the installer to do it and he forgot. There is one spot where wires show but I explained what happen when they came to my boyfriend's house and we agreed to wrap it with electrical tape and to call if I had any problems with it. They installed a free key pad at my boyfriend's house for my slight problem with the cord at my house. I would recommend them to anyone that needed work done. I am overall so pleased with my service.

I was pleased to have somebody answer my call on the first attempt and I was able to get them to come to our house the next day to fix a small issue we had with our garage door rail. Yates fixed the issue in about 3 minutes and charged me $80 (fair I guess) BUT they didn't perform the second half of the job... The other reason for having them come out was to provide an estimate on replacing our 2 garage doors with ones with windows and of a different color. Measurements were taken and a promise to get back to me by end of day was made (I fully expected a response in a couple days). The problem is that they never called me or provided me with the quote. I called the next day and left a polite voicemail with the receptionist who promised (again, unsolicited) response by end of day. The call never came. I called back again the following day and the same results. Still no answer. I called a third time and asked that I please get a response in the next 48 hours (double their supposed turnaround time). Still no answer. That was 3 weeks ago and I still have no quote or returned call - not that I really want one now.
Description of Work: Serviced garage door rail and "provided" replacement estimate/quote.
