Extremely well. I wanted to have this procedure under local anesthetic and not in a surgery center, but was told that was not recommended by another plastic surgeon. Dr. Koch performed it in his office and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. It was actually a very pleasant experience, as much as a surgical procedure can be, anyway. He and his staff are very kind, caring, and professional and I knew I was in good hands. The results exceeded my expectations.

From the moment I walked into the office, I was treated with dignity and respect, like a real person and not a number. Surgery had no surprises, I was totally prepared for what was going to happen, the honesty and integrity with which everyone conducts themselves is outstanding.

Dr. Koch and his staff are wonderful. I had some circumstances that the Dr. and staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that I was well taken care of. A month after surgery, I had a question and texted the Dr., directly. He called me back within minutes! I have never had a Dr. give out their personal cell and home number before! I am 2 months out, now, and love my results. I will definitely be going back in the future. This place and all who work there, make this a true gem to have here in Iowa!

Everything about the visit and subsequent work with Dr. Koch and his staff exceeded my expectations. They thoroughly answered every one of my many questions and took a personal interest in my desired outcomes and progress throughout the process. Without a doubt they comprise the cheeriest medical office I have ever encountered. Everyone is personable and approachable and very professional.
I asked Dr. Koch if all facelifts were the same or if I could have one that did not remove as much skin as usual because I did not want to look younger, only a better 62. He said everything is individualized and he would be glad do what I wanted.
The surgery, which was a mid (s-lift) Ry\hytidectomy - removal of excess skin from my temporal, cheek and jowl areas - was done in the office with only the use of one Valium tablet and a local anesthetic. I chatted during the process and felt no pain. It took about an hour and a half after which my face was wrapped in cotton and my husband took me home. I slept the rest of the day and went back in for a scheduled appt the next morning when the cotton was removed.
After that it was just a matter of time while the healing process occurred. I had been given some pain medication but only took one or two tablets before feeling fine. I visited Dr. Koch after the first week and then after the first month. He was always interested in how I was progressing, checked things thoroughly, and again answered all my questions. I felt better about my looks after the first week and it only continued getting better after that.
My husband, who did not want me to have the procedure, is now thrilled with it! He says I look the same, only much better, more rested or refreshed Friends and family only say that I look so good - I really don't think they know that I had any surgery - even my mother and sister! This is exactly what I was hoping for!
I have also used the spa for a facial, and I will return for more.
I most highly recommend Dr. Koch and his practice!

My daughter wanted rhinoplasty because she felt her nose was too big. We scheduled a consultation with Dr. Brenton Koch and immediately felt comfortable with him. He took the time to clearly explain the procedure and took photos to show her what she could reasonably expect for results. Dr. Koch has a very upbeat and warm personality which made it easy to ask questions and also put our fears at ease. His office building in WDM is beautiful and his staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience and best of all my daughter is so happy she had the surgery. Her new nose is perfect for her features which has been a boost to her self confidence.

He is very good at what he does. He was able to give me a closure on my face, right between my nose and my lip, and you really can't see the scar. It would have been a hole about the size of the tip of my thumb. He gave me a closure that no one even notices but me. He is really good. His bedside manner was wonderful. He is very friendly and you feel like he really does care. He is very compassionate. He cares and knows that it is scary and that you don't want scares. He had before and after videos to show what kind of an outcome you could expect. I thought that was nice. It puts you at ease before he does anything. He talks through it and shows you what he is going to do. I was disappointed that he only does neck and up because I've had things on my arms. That is his specialty and he does a very nice job. It helps to have people that can help fix those things. His staff is wonderful. He is wonderful. I would definitely recommend him, no problem.

He is excellent. He is very a very friendly and knowledgeable surgeon. I would see him in the future.
