We gave a notice to proceed after receiving a quote on a Thursday, and the work started the following Monday. The crew and supervisor arrived promptly at 7:30 in the morning each of the two days they worked. They cleared it with us to start early and stay late. They draped the openings with plastic to minimize dust from spreading to other portions of the house and put tarps on the floors. They installed a wire lath, scratch coat and individually fitted the stone veneer and built a stone mantle. The mixing of the mortar and stone cutting was done outside to mimimize the mess in the house. The crew worked 10-12 hours for two days to complete the job as quickly as possible.
