Peoples Community Health Clinic

I use them because they take my insurance. They are all right. I don't have much choice. They seem to do all right. I didn't have to pay anything because of my insurance so they didn't send me a statement or anything.

Peoples Community Health Care Clinic has been okay. Last time I was there I got a tooth pulled and I'd say it was one of the better tooth pulling experiences I've had.

The doctor, I've been going there for that for a few months. I'd say they're pretty good too I guess. Part of it might be me, I thought I had arthritis - a weird pain all the time, and they can't quite figure that out so I'm actually going to the University of Iowa hospital tomorrow they're hopefully going to figure out what's going on with that. But I know the doctor there has been trying.

I enjoyed the clinic, they have been very good to me. I like their hours, they are open in the evening. They are pretty flexible, I like that.

They are awful. I saw a nurse practitioner in the Urgent Care Section who asked me what I wanted for medication. She was pleasant enough. I have many medication allergies which she was not aware of, even though I had informed the nurse about it. She tried to prescribe something I was allergic to. I told her I could not take it. She asked me what I wanted and I said I wanted what was going to be effective for what I had. The prescriptions are transmitted electronically. My prescription was never transferred to the pharmacy and I was leaving the next day for travel. After calling multiple times my prescription never got sent to the pharmacy so I never got medication for the visit that I was billed for. I am still working with them with regard to billing.

.I think she is the best in her field. When we call her at the last minute she lets us come in. She doen't make us wait at all.

They very professional and thorough.  Availability is good and they usually get me in within a day.  They're incredibly accomodating.
