These guys can't change a wax ring on a toilet. Literally. They eventually got mine replaced at 6pm on a Friday and they were ready to give up at 5 but their boss told them to stay until done. After they got it ( it took 5 guys, 2 of them just slumbering around ), they charged me $300 for a wax ring . I've got nothing to gain by leaving this review, mainly I wanted to leave one in order to warn people to stay away from this company.

It went great! They came out right away and got it working.

Tim and DeShawn were very thorough and professional. They did the job in a timely fashion and explained everything as they went.

Mr. Bill Tucker, was outstanding. He arrived on time, was extremely courteous and went straight to work trying to find the source. Once he located the problem he quickly repaired the leak and while he was there I asked him to look at another problem and he simply replaced a new water pressure valve. Long story short, I will continue to use Bergen for my plumbing needs because of the good professionalism Bill Tucker showed for Bergen.

Fine. I was impressed with the honesty of the employee. Also had another job quote done. Loved that the salesman did not put pressure on me to get the work done immediately.

They called and scheduled 2 days for the work, but were finished by the end of the first day. This included having the work inspected by the city as well. Since we're doing the remaining work ourselves the contractor gave us suggestions for completing the work for the bathroom. They were very knowledgable and were good about explaining things if we had questions. I would use them again in a heartbeat. We had a great experience.

The overall story is too long. However, if I had called Bergen first I would haved thousands.

They seem very professional and very efficient; they didn't get it done the first time but they came back and didn't have an extra charge for that. The only thing I can say is he gave me the estimate of the whole system and email us that, he took our email address down but nobody has contacted us or even we didn't have received any email; they didn't pursue it any further and give us more information.

Great! A lot accomplished in a short amount of time.

When we realized we didn't have any hot water, we called Bergen Plumbing on Saturday morning during Labor Day weekend. The on-call plumber arrived within an hour of our call, smiling and friendly. He examined the water heater and determined that the problem might be a dirty burner. He took it out and cleaned it, then reinstalled it and re-lit the pilot light. The heater began to work again immediately. The whole process took him less than an hour, and he was off to his next job. The call was more expensive than it would have been during the week, but we were very pleased to get such a quick response and a happy outcome.

We are normally satisfied with them. I just think they are very good plumbers.

They put on little white booties, on so they don't track anything in your house. I met the owner once and he is a very honest man. All of his men are very good.

Our kitchen sink on the side with garbage disposal was draining very slowly. I was baffled as to the reason because the other side of the sink drained fine. I had previously removed the traps under the sink and they were clear.

We called Bergen Plumbing and scheduled a service call for the next day. The service technician called to say that he was on his way and asking for directions. He arrived promptly.

Once I told him the problem, he suggested some possible causes even before he looked at it. He took off the outlet drain off the disposal and sure it enough it was what he said. The plastic disposal outlet was deformed and only about 1/3 to 1/4 of the original opening area. The was no way to repair the 13-year old InSinkerator disposal.

The service man called the office to see if they had a replacement in stock. After I gave him the go-ahead, he ran back to the shop and picked up the disposal and was back soon. He installed it and was done in under an hour. Since they charge a flat rate for the first hour of service, there were no additional labor charges.

The new 3/4 HP InSinkerator disposal was a little higher than what it would have cost at a local retailer, but it also had an 8 year warranty instead of the 5-6 years if purchased from other sellers. This is in addition to the 1 year warranty on their work provided by Bergen. Overall, I was pleased with their work and would recommend them to others.

The work was excellent. They were very polite and kept me well informed. The price was reasonable. They were here when they said they would be here. We have used them before to work on our bathroom. We have no complaints.
