I bought an extended warranty and I probably wouldn't have spent the money. I did have a problem and they fixed it and it cost me $50.00. I checked out cars before buying. It is only me and I only have people do things that I am sure they can do a good job. My car has been a really good car. It is not the bottom of line of cars. I have a Murano.

Chip Giles was the individual who helped me make my purchase. He was fantastic! He's not pushy. He knows his facts and delivers it in a way that you know he wants what's best for you too. I have never had such great service from any dealership and suggest them to anyone I know looking to purchase a car. The best part is that their services and friendliness don't end after you drive off the lot. I received a card in the mail asking how I liked my new car and a phone call to make sure there weren't any concerns with my new purchase.

When getting a routine oil change, inspection, and tire rotation in the month prior, some minor surface damage was caused to my rear bumper / paneling near the rear driver side tire. This occurred during the tire rotation. A piece of the technician's equipment made contact with my car and gouged the bumper / scratched the paint.
The service manager immediately came to me directly, and calmly explained the situation. He took me to the car and showed me the damage in the shop. At that point, he worked with me to schedule a time to bring it back in to get repaired (including a loaner to drive the day of that repair -- a 2013 Nissan Altima!). I scheduled it for the day listed above (may not be exact date, but it was late spring/early summer). I dropped it off at 7 am and got the loaner, and was able to come back after work that day and pick up my car. Good as new!
This was all arranged at no cost to me, and they went to great lengths to make the situation as painless as possible for me.
While ideally this circumstance would be avoided, I felt that the way it was handled by the staff warranted a review. The service manager was professional and courteous, and at all times was honest and supremely interested in meeting my needs and best interests. I feel it reflects well on the quality organization that this provider is. It further cemented my feelings that this is the best service I can possibly get for my Nissan in the Des Moines metro.

I had two flat tires (both on the passenger side of my vehicle). I received a tow to the provider that Saturday. I was able to get a quote for four new tires and have my car in the process of getting the new tires within the hour. Cory, the service manager, went over the various tire options with me and helped me make the choice best for me based on price, quality, timeliness of repair, etc. All told, I was only at the servicer's location for 2 hours. This was a blessing after the stressful morning of getting the flat tires and waiting for the tow.
During the change of the tires, it was discovered that three tire pressure monitors were broken. Rather than placing this back on me, Cory spoke with me and said that Hummel's would cover the cost of replacing these as well since he had no way of knowing when they had broken (before service or during changing of the tires). It was an unforseen circumstance for my visit, but I was highly impressed with how the staff there handled it. It was handled with honesty and forthrightness, and they certainly kept my best interests at the forefront.
Using my new tires for about two weeks now. Smooth and quiet ride!

The staff at Hummel's is very professional, honest, and punctual. They communicate the status of your service order in a timely fashion and provide a review of your service visit before checkout, allowing you an opportunity to personally discuss with the service manager for your vehicle any concerns or issues. I went on a Saturday and it is usually busier that day, but even then my wait time was about 1 hour.
Highly satisfied and where I go for all my auto service on my Nissan.

I had my Maxima serviced at Hummels every 3-4,000 miles and they did all the major 'milestone' maintenance - timing belts, etc. They were always fast and dependable and their advice was on the money.

I worked with Sunny. A very personable young man originally from Eastern Europe. I thought he was from New Jersey. :-).

I ended up buying a car when all I really wanted to do was test drive a new model. I am not a compulsive buyer but I proceeded because of the following.

1) Absolutely no pressure...just straight answers to my questions.
2) They offered me a bit more for my trade in than I was expecting after pretty exhaustive analysis of the guides and retail sales.
3) Surprisingly their original offer on the new car was within $500 of the Consumer Reports Car Buying Guide's Best Price. I knew I could get this price in Omaha...so I offered $350 less and we were go to go. I figured is was worth $150 not to have to drive to Omaha.

I told Sunny that I was absolutely 100% certain that I did not want any aftermarket products (extended warranty, undercoating, fabric protectant, etc. etc.). I had no confidence that this would do any good but thought it worth a try. I was absolutely delighted that the and quot;business managerand quot; only mention, and quot;I understand that you do not want to take advantage of our extended warrantyand quot;. After open and closing my mouth several times I muttered, and quot;No thanksand quot;. We closed the deal in about 7 minutes with no other mention of aftermarket crap or any other other surprises.

This was the best new care buying experience I have ever had. In addition to my personal cars, I purchase 1 or 2 care each year for work. If Hummels is always this good, they should do very well! At this point I can recommend them without reservation.
