Excalibur did a great job! They weren't the cheapest contractor we received quotes from but I am very happy with the quality of their work. Shane was very nice and responsive and his crew was very polite and hard working. We were worried about being able to replace our roof before the winter and Excalibur fit us in their schedule within one week. Shane also had all the warranty information filed for us and sent us a confirmation that everything had been submitted. They did have to take down the satellite dish and when they put it back we were having difficulty getting reception. I thought Shane went above and beyond by calling a satellite service tech and had the satellite fixed within two hours. My husband was happy and got to watch his football game. Overall, great contractor and I would recommend them.

Very pleased with the work Excalibur did on our home. They arrived when they said they would, and got straight to work-- it took a little more than a day to complete a pretty big job! It looks fantastic, and we feel very confident that the work was done correctly-- no more leaks! Highly recommend!

The work was done as scheduled and done well.  The entire job and Clean up was very professional.

Work was completed as bid. They were professional and responsive. Cleaned up any mess. They were willing to work with us on price. Exceeded expectations.

I'm writing this review because I'm not a person that write reviews, but feel this contractor was simply amazing and deserves to have his QUALITY COMPANY and SERVICES recognized to help serve other people in the area. You will not have cold feet, regrets, or second guessing your decision if you invite this company into your home. You get all the information needed to make your own informed decisions.

The initial consultation was EXTREMELY LOW PRESSURE and was all about asking the questions to find out what MY needs and wants were. It was a bonus that he had financing options available as it made it affordable for me to do this much needed project. The presentation was done on an tablet which gave a great overview of what the job would look like, choices I would have, and a lot of good pictures to help me see the visual side of the project. He also had many sample boards of shingles and the other products he had to offer such as the Ice and Water (extra protection for roof where it needs it the most) and the Tiger Paw underlayment. We have no intentions of moving anytime soon so I was willing to spend money on the upgrades (which the value side long term wasn't much) so I don't have to do this again in the time I live in this home!!

The crew that was working on the house consisted of 8 guys. They showed up early and right on time. I have a friend in the dumpster business that I had drop off the dumpster, but the cost of that was even very comparable to what Shane charged for a dumpster. I was amazed how well the crew worked together like a well oiled machine!! They all had their own jobs that allowed them to get things done fast and not sacrificing quality. Within the first couple hours they had 3 layers of shingles torn off and a couple pieces of plywood replaced. My house is close to a 1600 sq ft ranch that has a lot of hips and valleys. Tarps were laid down and I couldn't believe how CLEAN they kept everything with such a messy project. They ran a larger rolling magnet over the lawn after the job was complete and I don't think I found more than 10 nails in the days after. I'm sure they pulled 10,000 nails (no joke) out of that roof. How is it even possible to only find about 10 nails?? Shane stopped out multiple times throughout the day to manage the job and answer any questions that I had. The job that would have taken me weeks to do was finished in 1 day. I think they finished it by around 5 or 6 that night. I now have a piece of mind with this roof for the next 50 years! Looks phenomenal!!!!

I can't thank Shane enough as I've dealt with horrible contractors in the past which was an absolute nightmare. I've never been more happy with a company from start to finish. Since then, I have also had him put a roof on my rental house which I chose to invest a little less in, which Shane also pointed me in the right direction where I would get a good return on investment for what my needs were. That job went just a smoothly. ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU WON'T REGRET YOUR DECISION TO HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!!! You will be the next one writing a review on Angie's List I'm sure :)

Shane and his crew were excellent! Very attentive and thorough. We have a typical Des Moines two-story. They started work first thing in the morning and were done by early afternoon thanks to the large, experienced crew. Over a year and many storms later our roof still looks great and no leaks! We recommend Excalibur to all our friends!
