They came and they did a check on the furnace. I am going to have them come out and do an annual check. They came on time even though it was a very busy time for them, they fit me in very quickly. The technicians were very polite and knowledgeable. They were even friendly to my animals. They were very reasonable priced. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The actual job went as promised. Jim Dayton made an appointment to give us an estimate. When he did not show up, I called and found that he had forgotten. He explained that his and quot;office girland quot; had quit and the office was not running well. He said he would come right over if we could meet him. When he came, we were impressed by his knowledge and willingness to explain everything (in more details than I could digest). He gave us a couple of hours and we were the ones who finally had to leave. I was sure I wanted a Trane, but had some concerns about a heat pump in our climate. We asked for names of satisfied customers, which he supplied. We talked to them as well as a friend of ours who is also a customer. They all recommended Jim Dayton's work.
The installation was done as promised and so far we are satisfied with our purchase. The real test will be this winter, as a warm house is my criteria. I was impressed that Jim was present during the installation, along with his employees. He said they would not leave until the AC was running and although it was a long day, the AC was running as promised before the last employee left.
I am hoping that the new office employee will make the office run more efficiently,as we encountered one more problem after the job was done. Jim said he would file the rebate applications for us. After a few weeks, I called Mid American Energy to see if they had received the application. They had not, so I went back to Jim, who found the paperwork still in the file waiting to be completed and mailed. Hopefully, the forms went out that very day.
It is obvious to me that Jim knows heating and air condidtioning and is a very hands on owner, who works hard to give a good product. Although we had 2 missconnections with him, I believe a good employee in the office taking care of scheduling and paperwork will solve the problems we encountered.

The two men who preformed this service at my home were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were older gentlemen who had been installing trane equipment for many years and knew exactly what they were doing. I found this particularly reassuring. When they were finished they made an effort to clean up the entire basement. I felt like the installers went above and beyond their duties. I would highly recommend this company.

He is very personable and very professional and he knows what he is doing.
