Over the years the contractor has been reliable and trustworthy, for several projects. I trust his honesty and I trust him being him my house unsupervised. Several projects over the years have been very satisfactory. This year he had a project on his list to do for me and he won't return my phone calls. I understand he is on a big project, and my project is comparatively small. He should just call me back and tell me that so that I can get another contractor. Since I trusted him so much, I waited too long and now I have a problem and have to build a new relationship with a new contractor. Theoretically I could have managed him harder (called him more and earlier), but I really trusted him before and didn't feel I needed to.
