Description of Work: Before purchasing a lot, I called this company since they did all the site work for the developer. I wanted to make sure the land was build-able. My Realtor and I did a conference call with "Justin" and sent him the information. He acknowledge they did the work and went and pulled the most recent files on the land. He then proceeds to explain over the phone, what the plan meant etc... I made it very clear the main goal was to determine the land was not filled with new fill dirt. He says OH this will be easy they are already a client. I'm thinking great! He then proceeds to tell me and the Realtor over the phone at most five feet of fill which isnt a big deal because the foundation will be around 9 feet. I'm excited, and asked if they pin the lot for digging etc... he says they do and says let me get someone to help you as he doesn't personally do it. I spoke with Scott who was very honest. We exchanged information etc... He sends me an email asking me to stop by the office as he has a couple of things he wants to go over, I'm thinking retaining walls etc... I get there and he tells me its 15 feet of top soil. I was like uhhhhh, that's not what Justin said. I asked if Justin was here, he replied yes, then I ask he be brought in. Long story short this guy tried to blame the Realtor saying he sent the wrong document, but when the cat was out of the back he was back peddling. He offered to buy the lot and split closing cost. In other words he wants me to take a hit. I was like this guy sure has some nerve. We went back and fourth as he admitted he made a mistake etc... the other guy was looking at him like your a f****** idiot. This guy was all over the place, making suggestions on how I could fix the problem etc... He was a real tool. I said well, how about I come back in an hour? So they could call the owner. They agreed. We meet again, and he tells me the owner said well people make mistakes and we aren't going to cover anything. He then tells me when a doctor misdiagnoses you don't get free health insurance, people make mistakes. I looked at him and said that's why you have insurance. He proceeded to negotiate, options. When I told him I needed an structural engineer to sign off on the change he started back tracking, saying he shouldn't be helping at all as he doesn't feel obligated. I finally had enough of him playing games, and held firm. He retracted everything he agreed to, I got up told him we could work it out another way and left.
